Random Thoughts

Design is not one of my strong areas. I can't look at a blank slate and come up with something really cool to put there. This is something I'm slowly realizing.

Let's say you are on the Titanic in a first class cabin when the ship is sinking and are struck with a bad bout of diarrhea. Do you A. flush like the well trained civilian that you are or B. leave it because it is going to get flushed one way or the other?

Why is there always some idiot on Facebook proclaiming, "You're working on Good Friday?. You're not supposed to work on Good Friday!"

Good Friday is not a Federal holiday, people. Yes, some schools and very few businesses are closed, but banks, the majority of businesses, the post office and everything else is open.

I hate those Home Depot commercials where they make home improvements look so quick and easy. No way you're going to gut and redo a bathroom in a weekend.

If you can tell me why the cute bunny jesus hid the dyed hardboiled eggs of yellow pink light blue and purple and then returned from the dead but wasn't a zombie or vampire and had baskets full of chocolates and various other goodies for us... If you can explain how any of this has to do with anything religious, by which I mean the reason you're complaining about being insulted google picked a cesar chavez's birthday doodle over one with fluffy bunnies and fancy colors because "jesus", I'll explain to you why I don't care.

Even though I cleaned my house before I left for my Easter trip, I still feel somewhat compelled to do more cleaning even though I have only been back for a couple hours.

Not really a gripe, but an observation: Why do my friends keep sending me Christian holiday greetings? Everyone knows I converted to Judaism when I got married 10 years ago, and if they've been following me on Facebook they'd realize I'm an atheist now. I mean, I do appreciate the gesture - at least they're thinking of me - but the Happy Easter texts I got all weekend were a bit much.

EA is actually trying to defend the DRM riddled simcity by saying the eqivalent of "sim city doesn't have DRM, its an MMO"... REALLY?! IDK how many people will swallow that but I'm not any where near dumb enough to go "Oh, the forced online is a service like EVE or WoW or Some other MMO". This isn't an MMO, don't try to polish your turd and tell me its a black pearl EA, I see what you did there... Now I'm wondering when exactly EA decided to lead the charge in shitty business practices, I remember when they were known for sports games more than an actual company

By trying to prevent pirating they make the game impossibly to play and the pirated version on its own server works better than on the official server.

busy day coming, think I should make my self go to sleep right about now but I really don't want to. I know I'm going to pay for it later but I'm just not tired.

I need to clean my apartment. And I don't understand why it smells. There is nothing in my apartment to cause a dirty smell. I just need to vacuum some dog fur off the floor. I think I might be using a lot of air spray soon.

I left my glasses at the New York airport all those months ago.

I get 6 hours a year of paid doctor's appointments and the like. I should probably use one to get new glasses.

I am looking up what it would take for me to get into an art therapy occupation and if the schooling is available in this area.
