| Ooh, I love the color of your cars. I see your old car sittin there in the drive...so now do you have two cars? Well, here's my car. Got it for graduating high school, it's a piece of crap, but hey...it works. NEVER buy a Volkswagen. This is a really old picture when I had David Bowie plates. Now I have wildlife conversationalist plates and a Cure sticker on there. Before this car, I had an old blue '91 Pontiac Grand Prix. | |

Well technically we have more then that. In the backyard my brother has his broken down honda. We have a '02 taurus and a '98 buick that we are cleaing out and going to sell because they aren't working. My old car we are keeping as a back up car in case something happens to my moms or mine. My new car is an '06 Ford Fusion and my mom has a gray '07 chevy impala.

Yeah, it's not just my car. Every person I've known who's had a VW has hated it (especially Jettas) and usually they end up having to scrap it. Just recently, I needed the whole cooling system replaced, along with the timing belt, the headlights, the horn and the windshield wiper motor replaced/repaired. Also, the whole thing is made from cheap plastic, so I have big ol' cracks and all over the place on it. The last set of repairs cost me 1,300 bucks. I looked up problems with VWs in message boards, etc. and found pages upon pages of problems with them. Many I've had, many I can hope to not have. So, no, I really would not recommend a VW, no matter how cute they are. Red--I love your buses! Some of ours here in DC are covered in paintings of foliage to get people to 'go green' by riding them. Too bad they don't have any stops near my house.

| ^^ You are a truly lucky Pontiac owner! My parents have two 2001 Grand Prix's (red and black 4 doors) and they have spent tens of thousands of dollars on repairs on them over the past 8 years. Maybe you ride with Lady Luck. | |
