Nearly two years after its escape, an Owenton woman's missing kangaroo was believed to be spotted Thursday morning in the rural Henry County community of Bethlehem. Jeannie Stivers was driving through the small community when something caught her eye. "It came from a green house across the road from the elementary school," Stivers said. "It darted across the road into the school yard and I almost hit it. It was a miniature kangaroo, I know that's what it was. She estimates the animal was about two or two-and-a-half feet tall. "It was a brownish color, kind of an odd color — different from pictures you'd normally see of a kangaroo," she said. "It moved pretty fast and by the time I could get a better look at it, it had ran off into a corn field." Nearly two years ago, Angela Perkins' life was turned upside down when her service pet, a miniature kangaroo named Cletus Eugene went missing. Since then, at least two people have reported sightings of the miniature kangaroo in Owen County. Perkins, who lives with multiple sclerosis said the marsupial could sense when her MS attacks were coming and would always let her know by acting out of the ordinary. "I'm just so relieved to know he's still alive," Perkins said. "I've still got my tranquilizer so I could get him. I feel sure if I could get close enough to him that he wouldn't run from me. The two of us bonded and it was like the bond between a mother and child and that's just not something that can be broken." Perkins said a kangaroo, once brought back into captivity, would resume its past behavior as a pet. "A lot of people think once they get loose they're wild for good," Perkins said. "But if you can catch them they're fine." Perkins plans to search for the animal. "I sure could use that little guy right now," Perkins said. "I'm just so happy to hear he's OK." Those who have tips on the whereabouts of Cletus Eugene are asked to call Perkins at (502) 750-0773. I heard this on the local news and cracked up. Cletus? How southern can ya get? And I guess they don't know the difference between a kangaroo and a wallaby.

yeah. So aparently our (the U.S.) government really thinks we're stupid enough to swallow the entire egg whole with the plastic thing inside so its a "choking hazzard", thats the ONLY way I could imagen anyone thinking this coule possibly be a choking hazzard. Companies have to put these warning labels on products, because some dope will get hurt doing something stupid, and then sue the company, and win. Companies that create RV's, have to put in the owners manual "Do Not put on Cruise Control and leave the steering wheel unattended", because some a$$ put his RV on cruise-control on the highway, he then got up and went into the back of the RV which was still moving to make himself a sandwich, as if he was in a friggin spaceship with autopilot. The RV went off a hill, and the guy sued and won money because he wasn't told in the owner's manual he wasn't able to do that. Frivolous lawsuits constantly winning makes companies have to protect themselves from idiots and courts.

| Jan. 20, 2011 US Restaurant to Offer African Lion Tacos FDA Regulations Say Lion and Other Game Meat Can Be Sold as Long As the Species Isn't Endangered
(AP) TUCSON, Arizona - A Tucson taco restaurant already has served up python, alligator, elk, kangaroo, rattlesnake and turtle.
What's next? Lion meat.
Boca Tacos y Tequila says it's accepting orders for African lion tacos, to be served starting Feb. 16. Bryan Mazon says there are already a few reservations from curious customers.
Mazon says his restaurant started offering exotic tacos on its menu every Wednesday about six months ago and has tried "just about anything we can get our hands on."
According to the Food and Drug Administration, lion and other game meat can be sold as long as the species isn't endangered.
The Arizona Daily Star says most of Boca's exotic tacos range between $3 and $4. The lion tacos will cost $8.75 apiece.

| So, so, so,
Since I'm in Tuscon, I stopped by Boca Taco y Tequila for some of their specialty tacos, on special today was Elk meat taco and Yak meat taco, both of which were really good. Their Boca Balls, yes Boca balls were also very tasty, and it's a nice little place with really fun decor. I can see that place popping on a weekend evening because it's like right between all of the small trade colleges and the University of Arizona. Met the owner Maria too, she's awesome, and I hope her business really makes it.

Feral Russian boars are running amok in Upstate New York. The South has been facing a wild boar problem where they are not only causing problems for farmers but for the average homeowner. There are reports of boars actually attacking people unprovoked and ramming down doors; boars in the South are aggressive.

| I saw this on the news today and thought; "I have a feeling Mr Beezow Doo-Doo Zopittybop-Bop-Bop was probably smoking weed". Maybe I'm being a little presumptuous, but that's what I thought. | |

| I think it is sheer laziness for people to wear pajamas out in public but I definitely wouldn't create a law banning it because people should wear whatever the f**k they wish. | |
