What is everyone doing at the mo?

I'm tediously hand sewing Venician lace to my lace mourning veil.

Kind of wanting to go to WalMart today.

It's both the first of the month, and a Saturday on a holiday weekend. It's the perfect storm for god awfulness.

I want to check out the freak show.

Last-minute details for my jewelry exhibit, which goes up... 2 hours from now, actually. Been working on this show like crazy for the past couple weeks

Also thinking of what to bring for the reception, which is a week from today.

I woke up about half an hour ago, which is surprising considering I went to bed super late last night. I was chatting with a work friend and then a school friend. I hate how my school friend lives on the other side of the country. :/

Purchased a netbook and a couple sport coats for my New York trip this week.

Netbook thus far I'm very happy with. Sport coats need some minor alterations and they'll be golden.

Having a cup of coffee and listening to the rain fall.

Getting ready for work. Super tired. We went on a 20 mile bike ride yesterday, which was a lot of fun, but I was exhausted after. I ended up not sleeping well bc I kept tossing and turning and waking up. No offense to my bf, but his mattress sucks Looking forward to a peaceful night tonight and my own bed

I'm slowly cleaning and organizing. I finally got all of my suit cases unpacked. I have put all of my hangable clothes away. Now I just have to fix my cheap drawers, put those clothes away, find a home for everything else, and organize/ clean my entire apartment. I have a feeling I'll only get the putting away part done and half way through organizing before I decided to stop.

Just got home from a midnight viewing of The Crow, which was fantastic seeing it on 35mm film.

Getting my some pictures of myself and my hearse to send to a new magazine editor or someone :p I'm not quite sure if he's the photographer, or the owner of the magazine...or what. But anyway, I was asked by one of the founders of the hearse club I'm in (Hell MI Hearse Club) to model for this new hearse/macabre car magazine that started production and that was going to be covering our Hellfest hearse meet on Saturday. I agreed, because I thought it would be a cool opportunity and something different to do. HOWEVER, I never modeled in my life. Never. I don't know what to do, or wear. The only thing I do know is that the location is going to be in a cemetery ( I know, shocking.) But I'm freaking myself out about the whole modeling thing. Can't you just photograph my car? I can hide behind it, or something.

Back from classes. Kinda disappointed on a chemistry exam I had earlier..don't think I did to well. Damn you, conversions!

From both perspectives, wear what you think will portray you best, such as a pencil skirt, nice top, sexy heels or even just a nice dress and heels/boots. Wear what you like. If your photographer didn't specify, then just go as your gothy self. If your photographer is good, he/she will also make you feel comfortable about your posing and outfit. If you're really not sure, maybe take some easy things to change into if the mood strikes you I promise it will be fun the photo might just have you in the car, so perhaps you don't have to worry too much about your appearance, clothing wise.


Got back from doing a local band's photos tonight. It was a lot of fun and I got some awesome shots

I always did bad on the math parts but I understood the concepts well enough to pass both chem 1 and 2. See if you can find some way of getting a visual on how a mathematical formula works.

A paper. A whole day late. Ugh. I don't know WTF I'm doing.

Dicking around in the library until my next class.

Taking a break from packing up pictures and nicknacks off the wall to paint this week. Have class in about three hours, so my break may last until tomorrow :p

I'm wasting time before I have to go to my next two classes. I really don't like my first two on tuesday and thursday. My journalism class should be fun, but the professor makes the topic very dry. The second is media law. That professor is fair, but his english is very broken. Law isn't my favorite thing to begin with. The class is only 75 minutes, but it feels like it's double that. My last class of the day is gender communications. That has to be my favorite one this semester.

I'm eating the pizza my brother got me, and then I'm not sure what order I'm going to do things today. I want to go to target to look at halloween stuff, starbucks to get coffee, clean around my apartment a bit, and I need to get some homework done.

I tried out the new diner that opened up in my neighborhood. They have a 1950's theme. They're still working out the kinks, as they only opened 3 days ago, and the poor waitresses seemed a bit overwhelmed. But the food was actually pretty damn good. The owner was trying to chat me up - looking back he may have been flirting.
