What is something really fun/cool/awesome/unusual that you've done recently?

Just got back from Boston; good times were had.

Went to Improv Asylum, saw Dark Kight at the IMAX, went to the club Machine, and went to a Red Sox game. And in between those four days, I think I grabbed about 10 hours sleep all-in-all.

Booked a stand for London edge, I'm sooo looking forward to it!

I met Ricou Browning and he played, for those who don't know, "The Creature" in Creature from the Black Lagoon. It was a freakin' honour meeting him and taking pictures with him; he's a blast.

You lucky duck.

I did nothing all day, and it was wonderful. I'm awaiting midnight until I go to the gym, so it will be a complete day where I did nothing.

I'm going to the CNE on Friday.

I got gunged, that was pretty unusual.

The CNE was great. Even though I didn't go on any rides.
It was nice to walk around and see the scenery. I had a good laugh watching my bf and friend making silly faces while on the rides.
The food building had so much darn food to pick from. And the famous Tiny Tom's donuts were everywhere. They are the best donuts I've ever eaten.
And the pavilion where all the shopping takes place.
The fact that I didn't come back with anything for myself makes me sad
So many bags I wanted. The jewelry was lovely.
Next year I'll bring more money so I can buy what ever I want and not have to worry about wasting my money on nonsense

Recently I went to see Novus UK who did this great "shower the audience with sparks", angel grinder thingie.

Well today whilst fitting-out our new art gallery (which is pretty awesome in itself from my point of view) I got to use an angle grinder myself. It made a huge noise and showered sparks everywhere, I want one for my live show - although I'm not so sure how it would fit in with my soporific ambient sounds.

I slept last night on my late great-grandmother's bedroom on an antique bed and I liked it... except the part where I heard someone breathing on the bed next to me...

Well my weekend involved working and cleaning.
I am soooo boring. But that's okay. I don't mind.

My weekends usually involve exactly the same thing interrupted by random bouts of me playing air guitar to very loud music!

I hung out with my friend Helen a few nights ago. The windows in her living room face an alcove where you can see the windows of several other apartments in our building, so she, her roommates, and I started a dance party in front of the window and posted a sign encouraging other people to join us. Eventually people in one of the rooms across from us started dancing in their window with us.


I also made a plaster mold of a piece of ginger. I'm going to be making an aluminum cast of the ginger at some point, and am very excited about that!
