So I've kinda' sorta' been collecting old/antique books that are printed in foreign languages. So far I have ones in German, Finnish, and Norwegian. I can't find any information on the publishers so I'm just going to start making a list and maybe one day look into it. And if you find any in your daily travels, let me know! I can usually pick them up for about 1-3 dollars a book.

ANYWAY.... I was wondering if any of you might have any idea where these publishers went and why. It seems strange that they would just all up and die during/after the immigration years.

Oh, and here's the ones I've found so far:
    Quote :
    **Päivälehti Kustannusyhtiön Kirjapaino
    **Duluth, Minnesota 1926

    **Suomalais Luteerilainen Kustannusliike Kirjapainossa
    **Hancock (Hancockissa) Michigan, 1916, 1922, 1923

    **Osakeyhtiö Kuopion Uusi Kirjapaino
    ** ,,Toiwon Tähden" liite N:o 2
**Kuopio (Kuopiossa) 1918 (I have no idea where this one is from)

**Kiǿbenhavn (no accent over the ǿ, I just can't find the right symbol)
    **P.G. Philipsens Forlag
    **Thieles Bogtrykkeri 1862

    **Reclam / Universal-Bibliothek
    **Printed in Germany 1971, 1987

    **Ginn and Company
    **Copyright 1914 Printed in USA
    **Multiple sites around US

    **J.B. Lippincott Company
    **1938 North Carolina

    **Hämeenlinna 1946
    **Arvi A. Karisto Oy:n Kirjapaino
