| My husband's picking it up tomorrow. He's been really looking forward to it. I'll let you know what he thinks of it. | |

| He got it for the PC, installed it, and then got a General Protection Fault error on launch. Not sure precisely what that means, but in practice it means he's stuck with a game he can't play or return. He's really disappointed. His theory is that the PC version was rushed to release before all the bugs were worked out. He studied computer animation years back with the intention of entering the game industry (but his schooling was done around the same time that the industry started changing and cheapening its labor), so stuff like this really p!sses him off. He figures he won't be able to play it until they release a patch. | |

| Lets just say, my man would rather play the game then do the nasty. So its pretty freaking good. And claptrap is hella cute | |

| My husband got it working. Had to de-install something and re-install a newer version -- I can't remember the details. But he's been enjoying it. And yeah, claptrap is adorable.
Vampira: it's a multiplayer first-person shooter set in a futuristic landscape. What's most notable about it, from the gameplay I've seen, is that it's truly multiplayer -- you can interact with your buddies more than is standard. The Fella told me he was able to pick up his friend in-game when his friend was hit.
And the soundtrack is pretty awesome. I've got "no Heaven" from the trailer on my ipod now. | |
