I splurged at Sephora yesterday:

Urban Decay - The Black Palette The black eyeshadow is blacker than black and the other colors are very intense.

Make Up For Ever - Lipstick in Moulin Rouge Finally, a true red red red!

Make Up For Ever - Gold eyeliner. I'm really into gold right now.

Illamasqua - Liquid Metal Palette (the multicolored one). These colors are gorgeous!

Sephora Travel Make Up Brush Set The perfect size for my purse. I needed a new set to replace my old Chanel travel brush set that was falling apart.

And because my birthday's coming up and I'm a member of their rewards thingie I got a free set that included a Sephora brand white eyeshadow and an eyeliner and mascara in black.

^^ Lovely stuff! We'd be dangerous shopping together... From the link alone, I'm in love with that Moulin Rouge line. And that mascara I liked a while back was from Sephora's birthday gift set, so I'll be interested to hear your take on it. Remember though, 2 coats for that one.

all of those things souds awesome. I love makeup forever and illamasqua. they have great products. I cant spend less than 50 every time I go to sephora lol

Actually hubby and I bought TWO bikes. This beautiful Vulcan 900 Touring Bike and a 150 for him to put around town in. Both are motorcycles though (one's just way bigger than the other) and so require licenses to drive them.

He finishes classes on Sunday and then takes his test. I take mine in November. OY!

Guess blondie wristlet. In brown though. It came with the large purse in black which is why I bought it.

It's used but like new. I really don't care. The price of those 2 items are cheaper than if I were to get the purse alone new. The strap is long which is good since winter is coming and i wear thicker coats. And it's roomy.

Hubby just got his license for them and once he gets his sea legs back (it's been 16 years since he's been on a bike) we're going cruisin'!

I can't wait and know it'll be a blast. I'm just not looking forward to taking the test for my license. Yikes!

I went to Macy's yesterday after work (just to use the bathroom originally) and I ended up getting these items:

Lace Dress

I also got a sheer navy blue/black sequin thing that I have yet to determine if it is a minidress or tunic. It's short! But damn I look good in it! LOL I guess I can wear it with leggings or super opaque tights.

I also got a long coat thing that sorta looks like a pirate coat. Well, that's what it reminded me of. It looks really cute. Can't find a pic on the Macy's site of it.

Well, I got tired of the cheap canvas boots from Journey's falling apart on me, so I made a sacrifice (all of my paycheck) and bought a pair of Dr. Martens. These to be specific:

They're much prettier in person, and they came with these wide black satin ribbons for laces. The picture makes them look like they're a brown color, but they're really a dark black. Definitely worth it.

I ended up returning the above mentioned navy/black sequin number. It was tooooooooo short for use as a dress and didn't look quite right with leggings. I went back to Macy's and exchanged it for this number. It looks way better on a curvy figure than on the model.

You wont find a boot better than a Doc Mine are now 24 years old and I adore them. Best boots, apart from the mock snakeskin 5 inch heeled ones, that I've ever bought

^^I wore mine hunting once. Needless to say the moisture messed them up so now they rub against the back of my heel and it hurts. Do you know how to fix that? If not I might need to buy a new pair.

^^ I had exactly the same problem with mine when they were new but due to being caught in horrible flooding!

Okay, so rub the inside of the heel of the boot with soap and let it partially dry in a warm place and then just gently manipulate the leather. It should slightly stretch with no ill effect on the leather itself. Also, stick a plaster inside the boot so that it cushions your heels for the first couple of times you wear the boots - they should soften up nicely and hey presto! No more sore heels

If I had the money, I'd shop exclusively at Talbot's. They have all kinds of neat stuff, and super friendly and helpful sales people.
