Halloween cards?

I know some people used to send each other halloween cards on the old forum, so I wanted to know are we still going to do that, and how we wanted to do it? Do we only want to do e-cards or real ones? Who would be interested in it and any other ideas?

I would definitely do that! It's a great idea... glad you resurrected it. E-cards are fine for those who aren't crazy about putting their addresses out there, or for wishes across the pond (it would cost too much to mail cards to the UK, and vice versa)... but real cards are nicer.

reguardless if anyone chooses an e card or a real card make sure to give all info for the sending of that card ONLY in a PM, don't post anything where the world can see...

It runs somewhat like a swap,don't know if you've ever done one of those.
Also you have to decide if you want to send to everyone or if it's a round robin type of card swap.(Round Robin one person sends to another person ect. the person you send a card to won't be the one you get a card from)
A person gets everyone's addresses or e-mail addresses p.m-ed to them,then they make a list and everyone has until a certain date to buy or make and mail or find and e-mail their cards.

Well I'm up for either. So now I guess the question is, who wants to be involved and in what way do they want to send the cards?

I've organized all kinds of swaps before.
It's really not hard at all.It just seems that way I guess if you're not used to them.

I received really lovely cards.
And funny that we mentioned it, I bought goth cards today just for this reason

Yes,Helen did a nice job with the Christmas one last year.I think I organized the one for Halloween last year.

I was in a different world for that time
But yeah. Whatever is cool. I already have the cards.
They are not Halloweeny but cute goth type things.
Maybe I'll use those.

Oh, and the Halloween stuff is out at the dollar store now

And they had such cute candles and candle holders....ooooh I love this time of year

Oh Halloween. I can't wait to begin the shopping. It sucks that I don't have the cash right now. This is the only time of year where all the stuff I want is plentiful.

Ooh man, I've been buying since early August. My newest addiction is a nice door-skeleton-garland and some others hanging around my windows.


Other stores that are taking out their stuff are: Walmart, Michael's, TJ-Maxx, Dollar Tree,

Oh and the Halloween trading card project sounds cool. I'd be interested in participating in it. I love receiving mail

Im happy with doing it again as well. But Id only want certain people I trust to have my home address, everyone else can send an ecard - safety conscious!

Ohh, how fun! I'm taking a week off for Halloween this year. Forget Xmas, Halloween is my holiday!

I much prefer Halloween to Christmas. You can keep Halloween decorations up all year long and not be seen as kooky--you'll just be seen as creepy.

My family is actually hoping to not have a family get together this Christmas (other than the immediate family of the children).

This may the first plausible reason for me to mail cards to people.
