The Seven Holy Virtues

It's easy (and hella fun) to live a life of sin, but living a life of virtue is a totally different story.
Inspired by my other post, I find myself also wondering... if you could only choose one of the Seven Holy Virtues to live by or have in your life (immediately or long term) which would you choose and why?

Personally I... I think I would go with Hope.
I've been through a lot of sh*t, things that would break some human beings and some things people have killed themselves (or wish they could) over. I've seen, felt, experienced things I would NEVER wish upon anyone... not even my worst enemy...
The only thing that's gotten me through those times without completely changing who I am, destroying me, breaking me, warping me (too much) was Hope. For as long as we draw breath, even in absolute darkness the light of Hope shines brightly.

I'll agree with Vampira on the hope one. You can hope in one hand, and sh*t in the other, and what do you have? Personally courage is what keeps me going. It took a lot for me to give up everything I had to be here today, even if I am unhappy, I'm still here doing what I set out to do, take care of my daughter and not be the dirt bag father I never knew.

I have love. My bf, my family and friends.
And we all need love.

Not too long after posting this poll I completely regretted not making it multiple choice also.
If there's any way to fix it, and people wouldn't mind re-voting, would greatly appreciate it.
If not... then go with the one that rules your life the most I suppose. Sorry.


Either way, I still would go with hope alone personally.
Blind hope is better than no hope.
Though I suppose courage to endure for hope could technically go hand in hand...
Or hope to one day find true love for some individuals...

I could've sworn charity was in there, but if not I guess I've got to go with restraint. There are times I really need to control my money, anger, and stupid retorts.

Love, Hope, Faith... the three go hand in hand...

It's interesting that love and hope have the most votes so far. Alot of optimistic people on this message board! LOL

I chose love, faith and hope. That's what gets me through everyday, especially during the bad times.

I'm debating canceling my vote and adding Courage with Hope...
I would add Love but... I honestly don't care about Love anymore... other than for my friends and family... but that's just more instinct....
Maybe I'm just not capable of being loved so why I should I love anyone if I can't have, experience, or feel it anymore?

I dunno what I'd do if I lost Hope though...
