I think it can be done! A friend of mine was in a wedding a while back, and she had a tailor sew a "modesty panel" into the front of her low-cut bridesmaid dress. I don't see why it can't just be done at the back, maybe in a fabric with some slight contrast so it looks like an intentional part of the design. Maybe even with a little drape to the fabric? That would be gorgeous.

Talk to a tailor before you spring for it, just to be safe.

That's a shame that you didnt get it but if it was too baggy then probably a good thing.

At least in the shops you can try it on to make sure that it fits you the way you like

As Moon as said as well it might be better to go to the shops to find one that you like at least then you can make sure you like the way the gown fits on your body and its kind of hard to find a really nice gown that is "not" backless on the web.

You're not getting on my nerves at all. I've just been randomly searching for clothes for me and when ever I find something in red velvet I just post it here. I'm a bit of a multi-tasker I guess
