Happy 1st Day of Autumn!

^^Well it's about time! This summer sucked monkey's butt!

I love my summer but I have to agree it wasn't great.
Too much rainy days

Summer was a whole 2 weeks here. All "Summer" I was wearing a jacket. Now its like a fall/summer/spring mix, depending on what day it is. It kinda sucks.

They're saying on the news that this winter coming up may be one of the coldest and snowiest ever.

^^^Oh no. I hate the cold, but I like snow. I just really hate being cold.

If it would only stay off the streets.

I love Fall. Halloween and Bday time

My favorite season is autumn. I love it because of HALLOWEEN , the leaves changing colors, and the cool weather that is so pleasant after the sweltering heat of summer! I also like winter since the snow is so beautiful, even though I hate feeling cold all the time.

I would like winter better if it actually snowed where I live, but since it has been so mild this summer, it is supposed to be a bad winter.

Winter makes me miserable. Summer is meh. I love transitions- sunrise and sunset, spring and fall.

I'm not looking forward to the snow storms. Last year with the accident that was bed enough. I don't want that again this year.

^^I'm not looking foward to the snow either. In TN we would get an inch and they would cancel school and whole number of stuff! Now since I am so close to Canada, people keep telling me horror stories about 4ft of snow and no cancelations! I would rather watch a gazillion horror movies. The only good thing about winter is I get to wear my velvets without melting into a puddle!

I just really hate hot weather. The summers here in Ohio are torture!

It's funny, last winter I was going through stuff to send to goodwill and was shocked by all the "slutty" things in my closet. Do I really wear shorts that short with tank-tops that skimpy?

On the tenth consecutive 100-plus day this summer I was grateful that I had thrown none of it out. Those clothes aren't slutty, they're Texas-summer practical!

^^ Yep, summer in the South is like walking around in a bathroom in which someone just took a hot shower. And it makes me long for summer in CT, before I knew what humidity really was.

Winter is much more beautiful, but we get ice in NC, and of course endless snow and cold in CT. The worst part for me, though, is that I do not warm up. I hate being cold for weeks, months on end!

So I still vote for Autumn, with all my heart.

In the south, it is not the heat that gets ya, it's the humidity.

My realm is mostly un-humid (cue the tumbleweed)...

But Red, I too am wretchedly, constantly cold. My nature is mocked by my peers, but I'm not ashamed to admit that I have a beloved space heater under the desk from which I write this. Once I get cold I simply cannot warm up!

I'm also fairly warm natured. Mid 80s with no humidity is optimal for me.
