^^ OK, I just tried them on. They look even more spider-webby once they're on. A *lot* more comfortable than I expected, in spite of that high heel. There's actually a lot of support from all those straps! Feels more like an openwork bootie than a sandal. In fact, that's kind of why I decided not to get them; I was hoping for more of a strappy-sandal look, but these do look more like booties. Lovely with pants, but with a bare leg, they made my legs look a little short. If you have the chance to try them on, though, go for it!

Hell, I might even go back for them. They'll be gorgeous with Autumn clothes. We'll see.
