I've really fallen in love with the pointed toe/winklepicker toed shoe; I guess because the pointed toed shoe looks a lot like the medieval poulaine.

I'm just going to put this out there in case someone on here has found these for a good price already.... Does anyone know where to find good renaissance peasant or royalty shoes? I need peasant ones to add to new costumes I wanna buy and my royalty ones really have a lot of wear and tear to them.

If you want a cheap peasant-esque shoe, you can get a pair of granny satin slippers from Wal-Mart or some simple Mary Jane flats will work.

Here are a couple of my favorite shoes for nobility:

Here are some Mary Jane flats. The Renstore usually has really cheap Mary Janes but they appear to be undergoing maintenance.

I've made a pact to myself, that I will purchase a new pair of shoes or boots every week until school begins. I bought a new pair of dress shoes last week, and I have my eyes on some boots for this week. It's like Lord Of The Rings, but sans trolls and way more shopping.
