Board Currently May Be Experiencing a Few Difficulties PLEASE READ!

We had earlier this morning as you may have seen, been given an info page that the board was under maintenance.

Now it seems that there are a few things that haven't been quite worked out yet and you may have difficulties with features on the board and may even lose the site. I wouldn't think it would take very long for them to be fixed. Smile

... I copied this from where I posted it in the Random Thoughts thread. At the time I had lost the site for a little while and didn't want to take the chance when I did get back on, not to leave a notice for all of you somewhere at least.

Yeah the p.m. thing is looking a little twilight zone to me here too.
Holding off on sending them is a good idea until Forumotion gets their stuff together.

ok, boards were down yesterday, along with other issues like being able to post/send PM's or navigate through the boards, missing icons ect. ect. ect. this was and is do to Forumotion (our forums hosting company) adding more/better servers and having to move the database and do to them being on French time their day was over before those of us in the US/ canada/ not europe. Hopefully they are done and everythings set now, Sorry for the lack of warning and dead boards, I didn't know they were doing this yesterday

Yep, I got it last night too, but I just hit the back button a couple times and I was able to get around it. Also, when I logged in this morning, the page looked pretty different: just the background color, and the text looked like a Word document (everything in Times New Roman). Weird.

It's just taken me 20 minutes to log in. I kept getting the white screen of death scream

^^I guess it's a good thing I have myself logged in at all times...

I know yesterday I got the screen saying they were performing maintenance.... I haven't gotten the white screen since then.. but then also, famous last words.

Is that the screen that pops up in several languages with a counter?

I enjoy the double p.m.'s and the white page that pops up between waiting for another page to load.
These new servers are great.

You know Forumotion could try giving those hamsters in the server room some gatorade,it might increse their stamina.

Seems fine on my end...so far.

I got the white screen of doom again. It's no problem, but it looks like updates are still under way.

I know forumotion is big and they have alot of things to move but they should have given us all advanced notice this was going to be an issue.

^^ Yeah, just knowing an end date would be a big help.
