Your Creepiest Paranormal Experience

I've had a few but I'll post it when I wake up.

My cousin and I were playing the Ouija one day at my nana's house.
We had our lil cuts of paper with the alphabet/yes/no/numbers etc. with a half a paint glass. We started to ask our questions and things but I kept hearing a nose to what sounded like someone coming up the stairs. I went out the room to check the stairs but no one was there, so I went to checked my nana but she was fast asleep. I quickly ran back up the stairs and left the door open. We carried on playing but the nose started to get louder and louder as if someone was nearly up the stairs. I took my finger off the glass and decided not to play anymore.

Who knows what could have happened if we carried on playing it?! We never closed the circle either we just threw the pieces of paper out, so I don’t know if that played a part in why my nana died. I hope not..!

Plus I used to keep having nightmares about my cousin being possessed - even when I havnt watched the Exorcist in many years. I still cannot watch that movie.

Other than my experience with Ouija boards, which wasn't really bad.
Except for the time it told me and my friends to F off (which I think was fake)
but anyways....
This was something that happened to my oldest brother lets see...14 years ago.
It was the first and only time we went to Portugal as a family.
To this day my brother gets goose bumps when telling it. And my dad doesn't really talk about it.

While he was there he ran into friends that were taking a trip there too. Apparently a friend of a friend of the cousin of the guy who my brother knew Had some kind of an issue.
He did the not the headbanging part of course. Just the horns and aimed it at my brother. Ooook my brother thinks. Whatever.
He goes to bed that night, it was around 11:55.
Then he hears like an evil laughing. It scared him and he fell off the bed in between the 2 beds (one for each of my brothers.)
He was trying to pull himself up and it felt like someone was trying to keep him down.
I guess he screamed cause my dad came running up and found my brother in between the beds and he had wet himself.
My brother explained what happened and the way my dad reacted was very quiet.
How my brother told me the story now was like my dad KNEW exactly what my brother went through. Because he never brought it up for years or he would walk away when my mom would bring it up.
Of course my dad experienced creepy things in his time too.
That night my brother slept with my dad and my mom slept in his bed.
Apparently that friend that caught up with my brother there was really sick that night. Puking up all sorts of things
Portuguese people believe in 'evil' people who wish others harm. "Witches" i guess.
They actually put hexes on people.

I have another story about my other brother but I'll save that for another time cuz this post is long.

You and I both, Vampira. It is still to this day the only horror flick that kept me up three nights after watching it...

You and I both, Vampira. It is still to this day the only horror flick that kept me up three nights after watching it...

Heh, I don't have that problem, I can watch supernatural horror flicks all day and it wont matter, its the splatter porns I can't watch, hills have eyes(remake) saw, hostle ect... except for some reason I did like ahouse of 1000 courpses, odd..

Every so often, i'd feel someone behind me. I turn around fast but there's no one there. I feel someone touching me and that freaks me out. I feel cold suddenly and there's this pressure on my shoulder. I put my wallet on my table, to wake up with it next to me. I hear someone calling my name everytime that cold air comes around. Creeps me out.

My brother was probably 18 or 19 when this happened.
He's 31 now.
He used to have wavy hair to his shoulders and he would shave under it.
I guess it's called an undercut...duh.
Anyways....he found a perfectly round bald spot under there. About 3-4 inches.
He doesn't know how it got there. It wasn't shaved because the circle was perfectly round.
And he was like that for 2 weeks and the hair didn't grow back. Not even stubble.
My mom takes him to see a Portuguese 'healer' or 'witch doctor' he called him
This healer confirmed what my mom thought.
Someone did something to him to harm him. What ever it was gave him that bald spot.
The healer gave my brother some kind of plant to drink as tea.
A couple of days later he threw up. And there was clumps of hair in there
True story. I saw the spot myself.

nearly every house I've lived in has been haunted, I lived in 7 diffrent places by the time I was 13 and only 2 of those places weren't haunted... I don't really get freeked out by ghosts and havent for a long time...

I've had many experiences but the one that really stands out as being creepy was when I found a dried rose bud sitting perfectly on a particular spot on the floor. There was a dish of dried roses on the book case near the spot but the dish was towards the wall (the spot in front of the book case), and even if the bud had fallen in front of the book case the likelyhood that it would have landed perfectly on the spot would have been slim (I would have found it on it's side).

Another incident was when I was coming home from school (high school) and I saw a white figure coming out of my room. It only startled me for a second and my next reaction was to say, "Hey, who ever came out of my room."

Wow freaky!! Eugh hair ball Did the bald spot grow any hair in the end?

Oh yes. After he puked up the hair ball it started growing back.
He's got a full head of hair now...except for a bit of reseeding hair line haha

My deceased paternal grandmother sat on the end of my bed when I was about 8 or 9. I had no wish to see her, she treated my Dad appalling and had the mothering skills of a stray cat

If I smell Woodbine cigarettes then I know that my Aunt Edie is around the place. She was a fabulous old dear. She would be the first to admit that she had a boot face but she once saw a man hit a donkey and smacked him over the head with her umbrella. I like to think she keeps an eye on me.

If I smell mothballs then it's my Nainie - my maternal grandmother who passed when I was 7 but always kept moth balls in the wardrobe in which she kept her chapel clothing

I was taking a tour of a Frank Loyd Wright house in Hollywood, and I had this weird experience...
We were going through the room where the children sleeped. and as we passed thru, I felt a chill, a strange presence I have never felt before. I think I felt one of the child's spirits. I'm not sure, but it was very real to me.

I have never felt the same way since.

Oh goodness.
So many stories were told last night by my neighbours.
We are all sitting out on her porch and they tell me about all this freaky stuff that happened in Portugal when they were younger.


When my neighbours daughter was younger she dated a man with some anger problems.
She eventually broke up with him and the guy became obsessed.
This girl found someone new. I can't remember the story very well but I guess the ex said something about hoping her life will be miserable with the new guy.
The ex fell off a cliff and died.
She married her new beau and became pregnant.
Her mom told me that her daughter saw ugly faces with red creepy eyes.
And it looked like they were taking a child with them.
And she saw these 'visions' while she was pregnant.
Now her daughter is very up and down in her moods and she has anger issues too.
Her grandmother thinks that she was 'touched' by evil from that ex of long ago.
Kind of a strange story but she got goose bumps telling it.

And then there was a time...
I'll save that story for later on..

some very good stories. I haven't got anything really creepy. We do have a ghost cat in the house that likes to show up and makes itself known and there have been a few times that I have felt things watching me or just being around me but I tell them to go away and leave me alone and they do.

When my dad was a boy HIS father (my grandfather) told him about something that happened.
I'm sure I mentioned this somewhere way back when, but my great uncle (grandfathers brother) was a well known 'healer' on the island my parents are from.
People came from all over the island to seek his help. He also got 'visions' and 'premonitions'
One day while my grandfather was walking through a forest type thing to visit his brother, a goat rushed past him. Then he did it again. So my grandpa picked up a stick ready to attack it in case it rushed into him but it didn't come back.
So when he got to his brothers, he started to tell him what happened but his brother interrupted.
He had already knew what occurred and he said it was a good thing that you didn't hit that goat.
My grandpa asked why?
Because it was the devil

Oh the stories I'm told

I've had a few apparitions appear to me in my life, as well.
I remember clearly the first time I saw one was when I was 5.
I was extremely thirsty in the middle of the night, so I got up and got myself a drink from the kitchen.
Upon returning to my bedroom down the hallway, I remember I was concentrating really hard on my glass of tea so that I didn't spill any.
All of a sudden I looked up and saw a white figure wearing a white nightgown that resembled the ones that my mother wore to bed directly in front of me and I nearly dropped my entire glass because I was so startled.
I quickly hurried back to my bedroom and pulled the covers completely and tightly over my head. That night will never leave my thoughts.
Another night is when my boyfriend and I visited a cemetary from the late 1800s and I captured photos of orbs on my DSLR camera. That place was extremely haunted and even stepping close to that area was enough to send off an intense negative energy and goosebumps, yet that place still beckons me to visit.
It's insane how these energies beg us to visit them....
Even if we are utterly scared to admit it.
