Sinkholes tend to be perfectly round or damn near. Those people who are commenting on the story should really do some research before typing up a comment. A cone shape to a sinkhole I would bet is mainly caused from the debris falling to the bottom.

There's a sinkhole a few miles from where I live. It was created more than 50 years ago. It's cone shaped and the sides are now covered with grass and the bottom is a small pond. Has anyone heard of another sinkhole occurring near the first one?
