| I gotta break this one down:
Victim 1: Jay-walking where he shouldn't be crossing an intersection gets hit by a car. It's partially his fault because a driver shouldn't have to expect you running out into the street, but driver's need to be prepared for everything.
Driver 1: Hit this guy, not completely his fault, but then drove away like a douche bag.
Driver 2: Runs over this guy who's down in the street, this is totally not Driver 2's fault, your on your way home and then around the corner there's a person laying. Driver 2 probably didn't have a chance to react, but after he ran over Victim 1, driving away and not checking on them is super douche.
Good Samaritans: Run into the street to stop this continuous accident.
Driver 3: Accidentally hits one of the Good Samaritans, making that lady Victim 2, because hey, you're driving along and all of a sudden there's a party in the street up ahead. Both Victim 2 and Driver 3 have to share blame here, there's only so much reaction time one has. But when Driver 3 does the decent non-douche thing, stopping his car to own up to what happened and check on Victim 2...
Good Samaritans/Angry Mob: Turn into an Angry Mob, taking out their frustration over Driver 1 & 2 being douche bags, by attacking Driver 3 who clearly wasn't a douche, turning him into Victim 3.
Good Samaritan 4/Angry Mob-Member 4: Turns into cell phone thief, because nothing says "slow-down" like "give me your sh*t".
Driver 3/Victim 3: Is able to get away from the mob, but returns when police arrive, since his car is still at the scene of the accident, and he's able to point out the phone thief, who decided it was cool to stay at the seen of the crime he committed.
Good Samaritan 4/Angry Mob-Member 4/Phone Thief 1: Is a complete moron.
I don't want to sound racist here; but really, really? How many stereo-types can we link ourselves too in one 5 minute incident Hawthorne, I know we're right outside of Inglewood and we need to keep our street rep up. Walking in the street, bad driving, hit-&-run (probably due to the drivers having no insurance), lack of compassion for fellow humans, violence directed in the wrong direction, mob mentality, outrage seems to always lead to theft of electronics, stupid criminals; this is list of the sh*t that is used as ammunition by racist American media when it tries to look down on the urban black and brown communities. What could have have been an incident where people stop and help each other, turns into a display of selfish, violent, and bad behavior. Good Samaritans turning into an angry-phone-thieving-mob that attacks a single person who incidentally was attempting to correct their own mistake is unbelievable.
