| In Dallas there's a theatre that replaced all of its seats with sofas and lovesacs and has a full bar. On Fridays they show midnight moves that are either campy, classic, or both. This week?
PEE-WEE'S BIG ADVENTURE!!!
Thus, last night was one of the most delightfully absurd of my life.

| Martyrs
Mum & Dad
Both torture films, but Martyrs was, well, EXCELLENT....to put it shortly. I keep saying, when it comes to horror (now-a-days) the French and Asians come out on top.

| Definitely! I had never read the book but Mr D spotted the film and thought I would enjoy it. In the end we both loved it and would watch it again tomorrow. Without wishing to spoil anything it totally captures the sadness of being a vampire and it was beautifully filmed and acted. The children playing the lead roles should go on to have very bright careers in film | |

My reaction was all, 'Oh she-ittt...did he just do that on that organ-looking thing? At least, I think that's what you're talking about I watched Let The Right One In, as well. I wasn't too fond of this movie, but I'm sure others will enjoy it. Oh, and I watched 12 Rounds and Monsters Vs Aliens, too. MvA was awesome!!

| Underworld - Rise of the Lycans...
I can't say I was impressed. The whole monochrome thing got to my eyes after a while.
I understand why they did it in monochrome (having worked in a few movies,) - but I think I'm the only person in the world who just didn't like it.
Can't really say why (the monochrome gave me a headache - but that had nothing to do with the plotline, etc) it just left me kind of blah...
