| I know it's not a movie or a book, but this seemed like a good place to also list CDs.
I just got The Silent Force -by- Within Temptation.
It's probably one of their best and it took me a while to get around to buying it. I do wonder why the song Stand My Ground is on both Silent Force and Heart of Everything. They must have really wanted that song to be heard. |

| My Aunt gave me Push (except it has the Precious cover) to sell, so I decided to read it before I sold it on eBay but I decided to keep it for myself. It is literary easy reading but covers very difficult subjects. | |

| From buch.de I bought 4 books...
Tote Mädchen Lügen Nicht (Dead Girls Don't Lie) Disney: Arielle die Meerjungfrau (Disney: Ariel the Little Mermaid) Lemony Snicket's Eine Reihe Betrüblicher Ereignisse: Der Schreckliche Anfang (Series of Unfortunate Events: The Bad Beginning) Tatort Ungelöst. Der unheimliche Schlossherr (The Unpleasant Castle-man)
......They're all kids books of different difficulty levels to help me with German. |

| ^^Awesome! I just bought Rosetta Stone in French. Something to do this summer. Besides, I'm having a hard time finding good learning resources in Norwegian. Though in retrospect, maybe I should have gotten Rosetta Stone in German? Hmm...I haven't opened the box, maybe I'll take it back to Barnes and Noble tomorrow and exchange it for the German.
Did I ever tell you I did a genealogical DNA test a few years back that suggested possible German ancestry on my dad's side? ...and some Italian, and Swiss, ...but no Spanish. Go figure. | |

| ^^^Rosetta Stone is overpriced crap. Just return it completely. You can get the exact same thing online for free from another company. The one I have in mind even has Norwegian.
BYKI for a downloadable program
Live Mocha for an online one.
BYKI is a flashcard program with sound and pictures (basically all RS is) and Live Mocha has quizzes, writing exercises, and speaking practices that can be graded by native speakers.
.....
I think you posted about that a while back. German is always good to know. It's close enough to English to be really easy for most to learn but different enough that it makes the Nordic ones similar. Though, if you wanted a trade language, you'd want the French (you're good on the other two: English and Spanish).

| I got The Hills Have Eyes (remake) at Kmart today for 5 bucks. I haven't seen the remake in a while, so it would be interested to see if the same scenes make me cringe the same as it did at first. | |
