I spent the day at work. Collecting paychecks of men who are prolly tired of their GFs nagging.

No different than any other day. I'm not a particularly "romantic" person tho.

I did dye the white in my hair a cotton candy pink to celebrate.

I survived Valentine's Day 2009 and all I got was this lousy message posted.

I survived too... with a hangover and whole lot less alcohol in my fridge. Maybe I was just spring cleaning?

I hate Valentines day. The boyfriend was at the house, and got treated to a spiel (along with my mum and sister) about how Valentines day is for suckers who wanna spend stupid amounts of money on ridiculous gifts. Then still had the nerve to say Happy Valentines day to me. I glared him down though. My 13 year old sister rang me just to tell me she got a valentines day card though. That was sweet.

^^Read the Oddessy of a drunken poster (yes it's spelled wrong) in the online journals area.. That was my valentines day right there. you'll get a few laughs I bet.

What's sadder than being single on V-day is having a SO that doesn't even bother to spend time with you on that day.

But whats more annoying is when they want to spend every single second of it with you, ( I mean literally the whole day, right from when I woke up, he was by my side) get angry at you when you have to spend some of it with your dad who you rarely see anymore, wont get out of your car so you end up running late, and use the excuse that they 'love you, so they wanna be with you'.

I had an amazing Valentine's Day!
I went out with my ex actually for dinner b/c he asked me if I would want to, so I obliged.
Then 4 of my friends & I celebrated "Single Awareness Night" with drinking, chatting, snow ball throwing & a card game.
I ended up falling asleep snuggled up with my great friend Brandon.
3 hours later my mom called & realized I needed to be home to go to my grandpa's 85th bday party haha.
It was a long day, but so worth it.
It was a lot of fun.
I was glad I got to spend it with such great people & could share the love with them

You should tell your SO you love them all year round nit because of a holiday...or so my bf says.
I'm sorry that some of you didn't have a good day.

Then got stoned.
Laughed with nsane in between and after.
It was decent.
Brief reminder that I was single.
That kinda sucked.
Fortunately it was within the last hour or two of Valentine's Day.
