Caught in another lie? It was brought to light that back in 1961 people of color were called 'Negroes.' So how can this 'birth certificate' state he is 'African-American' when the term wasn't even used back then?? Here is a comment from a reader to George Ure at UrbanSurvival. Com : "As you all know, Donald Trump made a big deal about Obama's birth certificate. I will tell you right now that I had never given this "birther" issue any credit. I watched the hype and the crazies come out. I completely dismissed the entire ordeal altogether. In fact, it was not until the White House released the birth certificate that it had gained my attention. I am the studious sort of guy, and I have plenty of time on my hands. So, I took a close look at this document. While I would have thought that this issue would have been closed for good (and, got the crazies to crawl back into their holes), I found two extremely strange inconsistencies that merit some attention. Frst of all, the birth certificate that the White House released lists Obama's birth as August 4, 1961. It also lists Barack Hussein Obama as his father. No big deal, right? At the time of Obama's birth, it also shows that his father is aged 25 years old, and that Obama's father was born in " Kenya , East Africa ". This wouldn't seem like anything of concern, except the fact that Kenya did not even exist until 1963, two whole years after Obama's birth, and 27 years after his father's birth. How could Obama's father have been born in a country that did not yet exist? Up and until Kenya was formed in 1963, it was known as the "British East Africa Protectorate". But, this is not the only thing that I found that just does not jive. The other item that I looked into was the hospital that Obama was born in. On the birth certificate released by the White House, the listed place of birth is "Kapi'olani Maternity & Gynecological Hospital". This cannot be, because the hospital(S) in question in 1961 were called "KauiKeolani Children's Hospital" and "Kapi'olani Maternity Home", respectively. The name did not change to Kapi'olani Maternity & Gynecological Hospital until 1978, when these two hospitals merged. How can this particular name of the hospital be on a birth certificate dated 1961 if this name had not yet been applied to it until 1978? Go ahead, look it up. I am not talking crazy talk, these are the facts. Like I said, I thought that this was a non-issue until the actual certificate was released. Now that it has been released, of course I had to look into it. I have found these issues, now I know that something is up. If you doubt me, just look at the following resources: Sure as hell, the hospital part is true, as you can read about the 1978 merger here. http://www.kapiolani.org/women-and-children/about-us/default.aspx Post-colonial history (from Wikipedia) http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/History_of_Kenya http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Kenya The first direct elections for Africans to the Legislative Council took place in 1957. Despite British hopes of handing power to "moderate" African rivals, it was the Kenya African National Union (KANU) of Jomo Kenyatta that formed a government shortly before Kenya became independent on 12 December 1963, on the same day forming the first Constitution of Kenya.

Hello Ogden, this is Heather [last name]. I am the assistant here at [gallery name]. I think I found some inaccuracies in the email you sent. 1. Barack Obama's birth certificate does not state his race at all. It does state the races of his father and mother. http://www.whitehouse.gov/blog/2011/04/27/president-obamas-long-form-birth-certificate 2. The name "British East Africa Protectorate" was used from 1895 to 1920. From 1920 to 1963 it was called the Kenya Colony, until the Republic of Kenya was formed in December of 1963. The listing of "Kenya, East Africa" on Obama's birth certificate is certainly shortened, but not inaccurate, as the box description calls for "Birthplace (Island, State or Foreign Country)." http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Kenya 3 . I looked up Kapi'olani Maternity and Gynecological Hospital and found this link: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Kapiolani_Medical_Center_for_Women_and_ChildrenAccording to the timeline on that page, the hospital was given the aforementioned name in 1931. Quoting the site now, with info found under the heading Kapiʻolani Hospital: "In 1939, after purchasing the adjacent Spalding property south of the hospital on Punahou Street, the Spalding home was converted into a nurses' home named the Kekaulike Nurses' Home." "In 1961, (August 4), President Barack Hussein Obama II was born in the hospital." "In 1971, its name was changed to Kapiʻolani Hospital." Further down the timeline, under a separate heading for Kapiʻolani Medical Center for Women and Children: "In 1976, Kapiʻolani Hospital and Kauikenolani Children's Hospital began a protracted, decade-long merger." "In 1978, Kauikeolani Children's Hospital moved into the new eleven-story (226-bed, 108-bassinet) Kapiʻolani/Children's Medical Center." That's a whole lot of information, but in short, the information in your email about the dates and corresponding name changes of the hospital appear to be incorrect. If you have further information to provide on these points, with the aim of clarifying them, I look forward to reading it. In every endeavor I search for the truth, no matter what it looks like. Sincerely, Heather [last name]

| I was at this pub with my new friends and this drunk guy from Kentucky came up to our table and told us this story about how his buddy kicked a opossum for fun. I told him he was a d-bag and said. "why do you care they are just like rats." I said no actually rats are rodents and opossums are marsupials.

I might take some heat for this from Boss, but eh, his emotional responses are unpredictable anyway. And if he fires me, it should be easier for me to get unemployment while I look for a better job. At this point it's preferable to the sick-in-the-gut feeling I'd have if I just kept my mouth shut.

The first one was her warning the US that we should be wary of the Soviet Union... Today's post was about how Abe Lincoln ALMOST didn't survive the Civil War. Seriously, why do they give this nut job airtime? |

Ah yeah... that's the one who thinks high heels cause migraines (bet she thinks the same of tampons, lipstick and push-up bras)... the one whose daddy dominant partner leash-holder husband thinks gay sexual preference can be prayed away. I think she might be worse than Palin. Palin talks like a cheerleader; Bachmann appears to just be insane. Remember girls, when you refuse your husbands' wishes, the saints cry.

I'd also like to think that any extant Higher Power wouldn't throw social/climactic tantrums when things didn't go its way. The phrase "Higher Power" does imply superhuman function and understanding, after all. I know the Bible discusses floods and all... but that is a document written by man and therefore rife with man's own ego and personal interest.

I know if there was a party of public school boys camping in my back garden I'd probably make like the bear Uggg, I agree. People need to understand we share our earth with other animals. This reminded me of this program I saw on TV. This lady owned a tiger but could not afford to feed it so the tiger was starving. Eventually she went to clean the tigers cage and it ate her...so the police shot the tiger b/c it was a ''man eater now"

| I'd like to knock a couple people's heads together right now. I'm walking Milo (who was just fine even though he went longer than usual w/o a bathroom break) when some guy comes up the sidewalk with what appear to be 2 pit bulls. Milo went berserk, barking and lunging, despite my attempts to calm him down. (This is unfortunately typical when Milo sees other dogs, but his reaction was extra-intense this time). The idiot f*** says to me, "Ooh, you've got a wild one there!" F*** YOU. You see me trying to calm down my dog and *you make fun of us.* Don't stop to think why he might be going nuts at the sight of pit bulls. And for God's sake, DON'T DO US THE COURTESY OF KEEPING YOUR MOUTH SHUT. It was *vitally* necessary to say something, right d*****bag? I expressed my "frustration" to Gareth; his response: "don't have a cow, he was only kidding." Kidding isn't supposed to make a situation WORSE. What did the f*** expect me to do -- laugh?? Gareth thinks I'm crazy for thinking Milo has ever been abused in a situation with multiple dogs. Well, let's put the facts together: 1. He was afraid of paper towel rolls when we first got him; he would cower when we held one out to him. 2. We adopted him in Durham, which is just as well-known for gang crime as for its arts programs. 3. Considering his breed mix and his underbite, he shows signs of being from a puppy mill. 4. If his owner is who I think it is (judging from old vet records and an online name search), he moved 9 times in Durham alone. Hmmm, why? 5. Potentially unwanted "designer" breed mix, plus potential owner's transience, plus ballistic response when Milo sees another dog, plus occurrence of gang-related crime (including dogfighting) in his old home city = BAIT DOG for dogfights?? | |

| ^^I have to agree with you, Red. It does sound like Milo came from a bad background, otherwise he wouldn't be afraid of small things like paper towel rolls. I don't blame you for being upset about the situation. Milo is being skiddish for a reason that is deeply internal to him-he's scared. Other people do need to keep their mouths shut when it comes to that sort of thing, especially when you're trying hard to keep your own dog under control. If you're concerned about Milo's health or need help with his behavior wellness, check some of the animal shelters or vet clinics near you. They offer courses (although I am not sure of prices; might find some for free) or try some behavior modifications yourself. For Milo's sake, it would be well worth it We're learning about animal behavior in class, which is fascinating to me. I like learning about behavior Hopefully it all goes well, hon. | |

I'd say 2 things for certain. He was definitely abused from what you're saying thats apparent but he was never a bait dog, I know that becasue he's alive. I say that becasue when I was first moved up to this city the neighborhood I lived in and the abbandon building right behind us had a big dog fighting problem and dead animals were always found around the area. Bait animals dont survive, they are used to get the fighter animals into a kill frenzy and get them used to the taste of blood. I know this will sound wrong, like its backwords some how but actually bait animals suffer less than most un-licensed puppy mill animals so if Milo is from a puppy mill it could take years if ever to rehab him to a "normal" state becasue of the un ending series of abuse he went through.
