Marc, I think you look a lot like the GBer Eric Bloodstorm. XD Such a shame you couldn't join GB, I don't understand why Parrish wouldn't let newbies join...

No. I never got onto the GB forum. I was paging through the latest copy a few weeks ago and saw they had a forum and went there but they had already turned off registrations. I checked every day to see when they would turn them back on, and there was a post that they were shutting down finally and it listed this as one of the alternate boards.

Thank you to the lovely Akasha for giving me the kick up the bum to join. Now to start from the beginning .... so many years on GB. I thought all was lost, but here we all are! Well, I guess Ill still introduce myself. Symmentha on Gb, still Symmentha here.


Now Imma wondering whether turning off registrations to Gb was the start of it all, or whether it really was just the spur of the moment thing it seemed.

He probably knew the boards were shutting down so they blocked registration

Oddly enough I think that was the beggining of the end too for the boards... Still doesn't explain the mass banning that happened before hand though.

I think the locking registrations were the first sign of the board closing down. I think the next would be the lack of action when Akasha was deleted.
