Everything has been shipped out and will be here in time for prom. Yay! And my mom is bringing me home a slurpee from 7-11.

I just saw an older lady driving her electic scooter.... in the middle of the street with about 5 cars lined up behind her.

Old people like that make me chuckle.

Glad to hear financial aid is coming through, Nsane! God knows I wouldn't have been able to go to college without grants and loans. And vet medicine would be a great field to get into. I have a couple friends who are vets -- they love what they do, and there's never a dull day.

Just remembered: I have $50 worth of free stuff to get tomorrow!

I have a frequent shopper's card for my bead supply shop, and once you spend, er, a certain amount ( It's taken me over a year, but still), you get $50 in free merchandise! The timing is great; I'm in the middle of a couple projects, and I haven't finished them yet b/c I was reluctant to spend right now. I need to go make a wish list!

That is great RedAngel ...free is always nice and when it can be used to make more money its even nicer.

My happiness today was at school actually . We first started sticking George and Bob <fake arm and fake skin both with veins filled with a fluid that kind of made me thirsty for cherry kool aid , but I am pretty sure it was not kool aid. I was told by both instructors that I did wonderful sticks , but my only draw back is that I grip the evacuation tube too tight. I am pretty sure with practice I can relax a little more. Also on the bright side I received a whole lot of scrubs from a neighbor of mine and I could not wear half of them because for one I do not do PRINTS and second most of the scrub pants fell off my bottom . So I gave most of them to this single mother that is also in my class. ( I over heard her talking the other week about not having enough money to buy anything scrub wise so she was worried ) Giving makes me happy as well.

I saw Saturn today...with it's rings!

Some guy was standing on the street corner with this big a$$ telescope and was showing people the planet. Apparently he brings out his telescope all the time to show people space suff. I love my neighborhood.

I bet the veiw was just beautiful Diva? Your neighborhood sounds like those old fashion places where people just pull out their lawn chairs at night just to socialize .

^^Almost, except we got mostly apartment buildings instead of lawns (who woulda thought this was the Bronx?!) and the ever present fear of attacks to our synagogues and other Jewish institutions .

Yes Succubus, Saturn was just gorgeous. And the dude with the telescope was equally stunning. My friend was going on and on about how sexy he was.

I also got my bullet belt, bat belt and Tripp skull jeans.

All in all a very good day and I got to have a chat with my best friend too which is always a bonus

The pool at my apartment place is now open, and I get sunday and monday off of work.

I get to move in with my sister for the summer!!

I'm done reading that mountain! Woo! And Tuesday, I plan on going to SCC and getting enrolled again so the ladies in Financial Aid Dept can help me find out if I qualify for enough that it'd also pay my rent.

I'm happy that my eCheck clears in 2 days. It seems like it has been forever.

I FINALLY got some sleep! and my family comes home today! Now the house will have some noise to it!

I've spent the afternoon in the garden listening to some decent psychobilly with my baby Yoshi cuddled up in my lap. He loves the warm weather and I love the looks from the neighbours
