A NEW FEEL IN 2014

Its been brought to my attention that the mobile version of the forums can be quite cumbersome and annoying. To fix the problem of having to dig through X number of pages 1by1 just to reach new posts, coming for the new year I'm flipping the order in which posts are being shown. Now instead of new posts being on the last page they will be on the first, meaning the farther back you go, the older posts get.

Hopefully this will make it easier for mobile users to navigate the boards and not impact the normal pc/tablet users to much and maybe even bring in some new people/bring back older missing people.

Is that just going to be on the mobile version, or all of it?

it's all connected so everyone gets the same thing, I don't think it will make to much of a difference to none mobile users since they can autopath to posts using the "latest topics" or clicking on the icon.

So, is it just me, or are the links on the side taking people to the top of the last page where now all the old posts are?

Or at least on the threads that have more than one page to them...

Also, where's the edit button on here?

that's an unexpected and annoying problem that I don't know how to fix... I'll poke around some stuff with a pointy stick and try to duct tape anything that wiggles.

the Announcements board doesn't have an edit button. I took it off way back in year 1 when we were getting a lot of drama.

I hate to have to give short stick to mobile users so I'll look for some way to fix the "annoying and cumbersome" aspect of it but I had to put things back to the way it always has been, I tried the new feel and it caused to many issues to stay.

No problem endless, I'm sure they would be an answer somewhere. It's not a big issue.

Hmm... if you're wanting something new for 2014, how about a new skin? A few years ago, we had a poll for a new skin didn't we?
