Halloween

^^^My friend is having a Harry Potter themed party so I have to dress as a HP character. Dont know which one. Its b/w snape, Narcissa, or bellatrix.

Then I am going to wear my actually planned mad butcher/doctor costume to another party.

My friend is having his annual Halloween party the week before Halloween...and on my birthday! I'm dressing up as Medusa. I got some rubber snakes the other day, I have to figure out how to wear 'em in my hair...or wig...

We're traveling to a wedding in Virginia on Halloween. The theme is Nightmare Before Christmas, but here's the bad news: we've been told we are NOT to come in costumes! WTH?

So, my husband and I have decided to throw a costume party in our hotel room the night before. We let our friends know, and everyone's whining "oh, I can't pack a costume with me, it's a hassle, blah blah." So the theme is going to be "wear a bit of a costume", i.e. an eyepatch, devil horns, whatever they can pack. I'm bringing my kitty ears... and probably some big shimmery eyelashes.

On a side note: I always thought people were selfish when they schedule their weddings or other events on holidays.

Well I'm most likely going to my friends concert. I think I'm going to try and see if there is an after party or go out on the town with friends afterwards. It is a halloween themed concert so it should be fun.

The wedding I'm going to is the day before. They probably did it on purpose so people can still go to Halloween parties

^^Agreed. But this year since I'm going to be at school and I don't think it will feel the same. Before I go back I think I'm going to go shopping for deals before I go back so I can at least scare up my room a bit.

I am sooooo excited! I'm dressing up this year, for the first time in years, just to hand out candy. I'll be a faery! (Who am I kidding, I was just looking for an excuse to be a faery!)

We were actually joking at work the other day about dressing up on Friday 29th...joking until they suggested that I have to wear a Laura Ashley milkmaid outfit

I finally got my costume. I had to weed through all of the midriff showing slutty ones. I can not pull any of them off. But I did get a vampiress of the night costume. I just have to fix it a bit because... Let's just say my body has more clevage then most costumes are designed for.

I'm going to be attending this ridiculously huge party at this mansion-sized house. I'm putting together an outfit of terrible decisions on multiple-levels on a personal level for certain people around me, but it should look awesome. Drop Dead Fred.

Last night the sudden truth hit me. I will probably be sitting in my costume, in my apartment, doing nothing on halloween unless the church does a party or something. Those are really the only people I actually know or talk to out there as of right now. Plus I can't drive home on a sunday and drive straight back.

I'm going to be Kuchisake Onna; I already have the prosthetics, wig, and red coat, but I have to figure out which pair of scissors to coat and dry in fake blood and make a surgical mask that fully cover my face.

DCGG: Thanks. Will there be any Halloween parties on campus? If there are, why not stay there and invite your friends over? Or just as good, are there midnight screenings of Rocky that weekend?

To be honest I've never seen the rocky horror picture show. I know at my church out there there is a halloween/ fall festival we are throwing. If that isn't on halloween I'm sure I call always call up some people and hang out with them.

Well I got some halloween shoping done but it simply isn't enough. I got a vampire plaque, skeleton garland, skull, and socks all from big lots. I still need to get at least some sort of RIP marker and the skeleton pitcher, cups, and bowl set. I know I want a lot more since my room is mostly normal, but I don't know what else to get. Something to hang on the wall maybe?

^^I know, but after halloween I will be back in mount pleasant and we don't have all the great stores I have at home. But those costumes sound awesome. Pics woman, show us pics.

Aw, definitely! We all need people around on Halloween -- someone's gotta help eat the candy! DH, sounds like you've got a lot of fun stuff lined up for the weekend. And the post-Halloween sales are *awesome.*
