| ^^I did miss sections, but it doesn't seem very noticable. I thought my hair looked like crap when my roots were still hot, but now it looks darker then I wanted, but I still like it. Funny part is my roots were blonde and the rest of my hair was orangey so I redyed it for when I get my license done. Now my hair is more of a maroon then atomic bomb red, but my roots are now that orangey red color. I can't win lol. | |

| ^^Thank you. I really like the look of it and I was actually thinking about doing some adjustments to wear it for more then halloween. I'm not sure if I like the lining by the neck and my girly parts are a bit big for where the costume makers thought was big enough, so I have to fix that as well, but I love it. | |

If you love it, adjust it and wear it whenever it makes you happy.

| Still wondering what I'll be up to for Halloween this year... it's on a Monday. Hope we'll be able to get in to Rocky that Friday (it sold out last year!). Got a Magenta outfit, plus cool stockings and lashes this year. Sat and Sun, I don't know -- would like to throw a party, but we only have a few local friends, and our friends in the next state over are no longer fun enough to hoof it down for a weekend. I don't think I'll hand out candy this Halloween. I loved seeing the little kids last year, but the teens didn't even say "trick or treat" or "thank you." They just held out their bags. I'd *love* to have some friends visit from far away, the ones I don't often see. Hmmm... | |

| Usually by the middle of July I have made up my mind about what to dress up as on Halloween, but this year I've got a whole lot of nothing. My friend will be hosting a Halloween party at her house, but meh, I'm really not feeling it this year. | |

| I wanted to be a dark nurse this year, but I really don't want to pay $50 for one that is already made. I might just look at some costumes when I go home. I definately know where to find an awesome costume for dirt cheap back there. Only problem is there are these victorian stillettos that I really want that are $50 up here. | |

| ^Ohh, dark nurse is a good choice. What kind? PVC fetish nurse, or like a nurse of death sort of thing? Like Diva, I usually am set on what costumes I'm going to have made for Halloween MONTHS in advance. This year I got nada. I'm working on Vampire costumes for a Vampire/Zombie treasure hunt (they have a costume contest at the end), but I really don't want to be a vampire for Halloween. I'm pretty sure I'm just going to pull out my Beetlejuice costumes I made last year. Have to make some adjustments to Dakota's "Showtime" stripped suit and maybe remake his wig. Lydia has to be the easiest costume for any self-respecting goth. Basically wear what you normally wear, and spike those bangs! BAM! You're Lydia Deetz. I kinda didn't want to re-wear the Beetlejuice costumes, just because I was planning to go all out next year to make the red wedding dress and ugly 70's velvet tux. (from the end of the movie, for those who haven't seen it for a while) | |

I don't blame you -- you can put your own spin on it, too, if you assemble the costume yourself. I guess a short-sleeved black shirtdress is the place to start? - QueenbHorror wrote:

I'm not sure which kind I'm going to be. I saw just a regular dark nurse costume that I liked, but again, I don't want to pay $50 for it. I think I might look around at Party City when I come home. If I can't find something like that, or something else that I like cheap, I'm either going to wear what I wore last year again or make something using stuff I find from the thrift stores.

| I think I figured out my costume for his year: inspired by my recent trip to Iceland, my husband will be a fisherman, and I will be either a shark, whale, or some other fish. Haven't decided on type of fish, but the Mr. will definitely be a fisherman. The idea came to me while napping on the train. | |

Would my five pumpkins (grown from seed) happily growing in my back garden constitute a pumpkin miracle? All aboard for North Wales again gang. I'd quite happily put you all up and feed you and show you the myriad delights of my home country
