Oooh, I like that crackle finish. Can't decide if I prefer black crackle or silver crackle though.

^^There are so many different colors. I was looking into black, red, blue, silver and purple. I don't think I want to get the red because if I did a red for my nail color with black I top I think that would look better. I know I could use silver a lot to put on top of black. I cold do the same with blue I guess but I don't know if it would show up as well. I don't know what I would do with silver.

But the silver is so pretty!

They stay put for a long long time. I dont have a dishwasher so I do everything by hand and I have not even had a chip!!! Some of the patterns are ugly I know

Dont know if anybody else has used them but Barry M has some fantastic crackle polish. I'm currently wearing black over purple and it has lasted through some frantic gardening and fitting a new bathroom (well helping to anyway). There's another brand (cant remember the name, too lazy to run upstairs) which has a silver crackle. Looks superb over blood red varnish

I have the sally hansen crackle. The OPI stuff is too expensive!!!

Barry M released a gold and a silver crackle yesterday! I'm sad enough to get emails from them! Wooooooooooohooooooooooo!!!

That black on black is fab!!!

I am currently sporting a halfmoon manicure.

For the halfmoon I have a sheer pink/beige color and for the rest a deep burgundy almost black with red shimmer

^^Ohh, like those that Dita Von Teese always has? They sound beautiful!

I removed my acrilics this week. Letting my nails "breath", and thinking about trying to grow them out. The nails have to grow out from where the acriclics layed, which they are almost half way there. They are currently black, but it was a rushed job. Not good at all!

I wish my nails would stop cracking as soon as they get long. I keep wanting to take them in to the salon so i can pamper myself for once. Every time I get close to that point, one or more of them crack.

That could be genetic or a lack of a particular vitamin/mineral.

^^Maybe. I got some more hard as nails, nail polish today. I'm hoping that will help them stop cracking.

hmmmm i am not sure if Dita sports a half moon....but it was a popular style in the 40s and 50s so maybe.

I just did another set of them today, this time with different colors

I just found this really cool "newspaper" nail look.

Its really cool and easy to do. Took me 10 min.
