| Do you make a resolution and if so, what is it"?
I usually don't but this year I decided to do things I haven't done before and to learn a new language (sign language). I'm going to take a piano lesson, shoot a gun, and not care so much about the fact that I'm still single.

| I normally make a resolution just because. But this year is different. I don't care what changes. I just want everything to change. This has been a horrible, lonely, sad, panic attack, tear filled year. | |

| That's actually a very good resolution Mrs. D Mine is what is usually is but this time I really need to stick to it. ~Eat healthier. Cut out the junk and eat more fruit and veggies. I'm vegetarian for goodness sakes. You think I'd be eating more veggies. ~Exercise!!! I need to make it a point to do some physical activity. I believe the pool has opened in the building the bf lives in. ANd I can save up for an exercise bike to use until the spring when I can start using mine. ~Get a new full time job or another part-time job. ~Save money. I have to stop spending it on stupid stuff. | |

| Lets see:
-lose weight and start doing more physical activity (though, that may be put off since it's nothin but snow at school...and I don't have a gym membership) -TRAVEL! I want to get to Toronto, Salem MA, Maine and Quebec by the end of the year -Save at least 30 bucks from every paycheck. -Pass all my classes for the next 3 semesters.

Just because you're veg, it doesn't mean you never find yourself skipping out on veggies. I've been like that on and off, just because pasta is cheaper than veggies.

| Not sure about a Resolution but had a member of my family in intensive care since Sunday and I just wish that whatever there is out there would just take him instead of leaving a once proud man with no dignity at all. Its been nearly five years now surely he has been through enough!!! | |

Ha ha, I was going to say something similar. LOL I don't bother making resolutions any more because I never keep them since mine are usually grandiose. Yeah, I'm not going to be skinny by the summer, no matter how hard I try and I'm not going to fnd a job that pays $100K a year. So I guess I'll make it simple this year: stay in grad school no matter how annoyed I get with my professors and classmates.

| JJ, I'm so sorry to hear your crap news. You're in my thoughts and prayers and I hope that things improve. These things are bad enough at any time but they seem hundreds of times worse at this time of year | |

| To have at least one thing published, to lose some weight, to meet a GB member in person and most importantly, to forget this list on the next new year's eve so I don't disappoint myself when I say more or less the same things next year. | |

| JJ and DCGG- I've had a rough year too. But that's why I'm serious about my resolutions this year. I feel like I need a life overhaul, but if there's a good time to put it into play it's a full moon- a blue moon, no less- on the night when people all over the world vow to change. There was a powerful energy last night, methinks I always make resolutions. One of last year's was to eat less meat. I have now gone back fully vegetarian. As for this year's eating, I plan to lose 10 lbs. Mainly because it's cheaper to eat less than to buy new pants. One thing that will not help with that resolution is my other resolution- quitting smoking. I figure that'll be the hardest resolution. And that's even considering that I've resolved to go back to school. | |
