Awesome Emma, we're both gamer-geeks now.

My team is about 75% finished with our GDD, and we skype Tuesday with videogame attorney Tom Buscaglia, so I'm stupid psyched about life.

I made awesome money today at work. I needed it after being away all week for school.

The only thing better than a partial day at work is getting paid for a full day anyway.

So far the EA job is awesome! I can basically dress like myself! The jobs that allow that are few and far between. Y'all know.

^^If you were here my friend lissie would love to speak german with you. She has visited germany a few times and loves to practice what she learns.

One of my classes just started yesterday. It seems like it is going ot be really easy. I'm also happy because last night I found out I lost a pound yesterday. I've been eating 3 or 4 small meals a day instead of just one. I hope I keep losing them that quickly.

Yeah, your metabolism actually slows down when you eat only one or two meals a day, which causes your body to hold on to more of the calories--it goes into famine mode.

I've had a problem eating more than once or twice a day since my dad died in 2003. I was never really hungry. Now I am trying to make a conscious effort to eat at least three times a day if not four or five. All of my meals are very small except for dinner.

As for the notion of making dinner the largest meal of the day, I actually disagree with it. To me, the largest meal of the day should be lunch because you have the rest of the day, but whereas dinner you have only a couple of hours to digest the meal before you go to bed, which is bad when you are trying to keep your weight down.

My dinners normally haven't been that big. I'll have a piece of chicken with veggies, half a box of tuna helper, or something like that.. A box makes 5 cups worth. My largest meal would be pasta. I eat half and save half of what I make.

We went searching for blackberries today in the little park across the road. Mr D said blackberries wouldnt be ripe yet. We came home with several pounds of lovely RIPE berries and then I made a scrummy crumble.

The girls and I also made tear and share cheesy bread. It was our first ever attempt and it was fabulous. Sadly all that is left are some crumbs in the bottom of the bread bin but we're going to do another batch tomorrow using Red Leicester!

I'm happy because I have friends that know exactly what to say to make me feel better. Plus someone else has had a change of heart.

^^ Really random. I remember when my boyfriend and I went to Universal Studios we could get 10% anything we bought in the park when we showed our card.

I get to go home tomorrow.

I got a fb request from a journalist in St. Louis today, he remembered me from the Vincent Price Vincintinnial that I attended at the end of May. He wants to ask me some questions about the weekend, and what drove me to come from Michigan all the way to Missouri (I wasn't the farthest drive by far. There were dedicated fans all the way from England and I believe Australia also). I know its not a big deal, but I never get interviewed! I'm pretty jazzed at the experience.
