I actually get to go out for food today.

Sometimes I love the Kohl's clearance rack. Every now and then you find some gems. Went in there just to buy a belt today but ended up looking around just a little.

Previously I got 3 nice dress vests for $9 each, normally $45 a piece.

Today they had a few $120 suit coats for $25, found one that fit me well, and another pair of usually $50 dress pants for $16.

^^ Wow! I've heard that stores will offer their best discounts at the end of the month b/c they get in new merch at the start of the month. This is an especially good time to shop: stores discount the really nice Holiday stuff at the end of Jan. And I mean discount -- it was this time a couple years back when I found my 2 velvet jackets from Ann Taylor Loft, marked down from $115 to $7.50.

My item of happy: I ordered some free business cards through moo.com. They worked out a special offer with Etsy -- Etsy sellers can get 50 free cards with photos of their work on them and contact info, for the price of shipping (in my case, $5.50). Of course they put a little ad on one side, but my info is still more prominent. And hell, (mostly) free cards.

I have a bottle of pear cider which I'm sipping sedately and it tastes just like a warm Summer evening

I don't have any class today and I'm hoping I don't have it tomarrow. I'm planning on using today to get caught up on all my homework, so if I have tomarrow off I get a day of relaxation. It makes me happy because I've been complaining a lot lately of feeling really low and needing time to myself because the weekends weren't cutting it. This is definately starting to give me that boost I needed because I skipped class yesterday, finished one project and today I didn't have class. Lady luck please give me tomarrow as well.

My prof who gave me a zero for my late assignment decided to grade my assignment after I emailed her the grading policy from the syllabus. She's supposed to take points off, not give us a flat out zero for late assignments.

^^Not only did she grade my assignment, but she posted a message on the e-classroom clarifying the policy for grading late assignments. AND now she has to go back and grade ALL of the late assignments that she didn't bother with before because she didn't wan't want to be "inconvenienced".

We make it at work. It was a suggestion on the back of the bag, so I decided to try it.

The sun came out! They sky is blue again! I forgot what that looked like.

What field? Sorry if you have already mentioned it and I didn't catch it.

My roommate took me with her to the humane sociaty today. I saw this dog that looks and acts exactly like my dog jake. She is only $175 and that includes her shots, chiping, spayed and tags. I might be getting her when she is allowed to be adopted on the 10th. They don't know much about her, but I have to call back on monday to see if she is potty trained and if she gets along with other dogs. If both of those things work out well I might be getting her.
