^Its a good mix of both. And I've been making jewelry out of the teeth. Usually on a pendent, then covered with resin.

I took a local band's photos the other night. We were driving around and found a bridge so we decided to stop. Underneath the bridge we found an animal skeleton so we decided to use them in the photos. We built a bone shrine and lit them on fire and I had the band stand around them. The ironic part was that before I had taken any photos, I mentioned it would be cool if we could find an animal skull and bones to add to our shots. It was fate I wish I could be there when someone finds the torched bones to see the look on their face

I woke up today feeling lazy and achey. I end up getting a call from my eldest brother. I ignored it for about an hour and then I called him back when my body wasn't hurting so much. He asked how my day was and asked me if I knew what today was. He then told me today is pizza day. He had gotten one for my other brother and now it was my turn to get what ever pizza/ sides I wanted. I got an order as basic as I could make it, but I was really happy about the surprise.

Passed my two week training in New York for my new position with a 98.25% average I believe.

I continue to remain employed.

Excited to read The Song of Ice and Fire series by George R. Martin. I started to watch Game of Thrones, but want to read to books since I can't fit time for watching into my schedule right now

Did an alternative fashion show last night, and so happy that I did. I met some really amazing, talented people who I may just have to take up the offer of spending time with.

Found a roommate!!! Less bills!

Lots of happy, in the name of getting more proactive in pursuit of my true passions:

Entering the last week of my jewelry exhibit. I haven't sold anything, but I'd still call it a success: I coordinated a reception that people actually attended and let a bunch of new people know who I am and what I do. I've also just emailed someone I used to know (on the advice of another jewelry-designer) to see if she'd like to sell my work in her new boutique.

I modeled for a portrait painting session today. I forgot how deceptively challenging it is -- trying to remember your position after breaks, gently compensating for fatigued muscles without looking like a mannequin. But I guess I did well -- the instructor has invited me back for another session in November, and intends to give my contact info to other painting instructors. Oh -- and I got $35 cash for it.

And... I'm helping a local photographer plan a Goth-themed photo shoot, to take place around the end of October. Thanks to a friend, I secured permission for us to shoot in a beautiful old art supply store. We might also shoot at a rose garden downtown. And, I'm doing my best to get another friend on board -- one who was a great model but gave it up for years. It'll be so much fun working with her, and getting her back into modeling!

I'm happy because today is my only day off this week. I'm going to enjoy it.

So everyone wanted to do something for Halloween but nobody wanted to plan it. Talked it over with a couple of people and decided I'd do it myself! It'll be a combined birthday and Halloween shindig.

I'm excited!

OK, it's official now that I've signed documents: A local shop is picking up my jewelry work! It's co-founded by someone I used to know from the bead shop where I get my supplies. My work will be sold and promoted locally starting in November!

I'm happy because I'm over the withdrawals from my anti-depressants, and now that I am no longer taking them I have been more motivated to work towards a better state of mental health. I've been going to a local Buddhist center twice a week, and it has helped me keep up my mindfulness meditation practice. The mindfulness practice has kept me going for the past few months.

I am happy because my awesome boyfriend bought me a sweet new Opeth shirt! It has a pile of bones at the bottom with a skeleton sitting on top of them playing a flute, and out of the flute is a smoke tendril that forms into Opeth at the top He's so good to me
