I agree. Admin's should go and intermingle with us and participate in the threads. That's what makes endless the best admin.

So... called the USPS about my stolen package... they told me to call the police department. Did that... officer came over... he could have given a crap less. I showed him everything, he chicken scratched some shit down, and left without talking to the guy next door even though I told him I thought he did it. Nothing is going to come of that.

I'm going to have to do a dispute resolution with PayPal now, I think. While I feel kinda shitty doing it, it's the only option available to me now, and I can't just be flat out $180 and say "oh well."

Yeah...You need to do something. $180's a lot of money. Now if it was $10, maybe not. But i'm sure you're like me and you need all the money you can get. I wish you luck.

That's what creeps me out about ebay. Having things I buy go missing.
But things are getting delivered to my door everyday for my brother and he hasn't had a problem.

Well... I don't have CryoFlesh per se... they were actually very fast with their response and shipping. But... there was no option for Insurance or Signature Confirmation on the order form. It wasn't until later that I found out, buried in the FAQ, that if you want that stuff you have to request it. I didn't find this out of course until after my stuff was stolen. Had I seen an option on the order form, as well I should, I would have well taken both, or at least the Signature Confirmation if nothing else.

I hear their products are actually very good, which is why I spent so much money... but I can't just afford to be out $180 for no reason, especially since they don't offer better confirmation services directly on their order forms. I shouldn't have to dig through an entire page worth of irrelevant stuff like sizing and leather care, to find out about package security.

I probably would do a lot more than just hurt them. If I remember correctly, Madelchai also got a glove that had spikes on them, well I would use that as a weapon.

That was if you had gotten them back, but in the mean time you can get some brass knuckles then.

You can be a very intimidating guy I can imagine. I say you go up to those who you think did it and ask them if they know what happened to the package. You can usually tell if they're lying.

I already did. Did it that same day. One said he saw it around 10, the other said he didn't see it when he left around 1. (Which is about when I get home.)

I think either they or one of their shithead friends did it. On the plus side, the stuff's rather unique around here, and not to anyone else's taste, so if it shows up in one of the local pawn shops it'll be easily identified, and also I've been checking the trash closet/dumpsters for the package box itself.

I filed a dispute with PayPal, and so far CryoFlesh has been uncooperative. (we're not responsible for the post office, blah blah blah.) I made mention that they didn't have any package security options on their order form, instead they make mention of them in a FAQ... behind a link all the way at the bottom of the page... mixed in with irrelevant stuff like shoe size conversion and leather care.

Might end up having to escalate it.
