I don't understand why they don't just ask you if you want insurance on it at checkout. It's just common sense.

You know... that police officer that came here when I reported the stolen package was a jackass. He was clearly less than interested, and was more interesting in sneaking peeks at what I had laying around trying to bust me for something. Like I didn't notice.

Am I the only one disappointed with the cover of Issue 26? I don't find the model attractive in any way. Her bright red lips draw attention to her discolored teeth. We've seen such makeup before, and she's not wearing anything at all (which defeats the purpose of a fashion magazine). There is supposed to be a major section about the laws of Elegant Gothic Lolita. Why isn't there a lolita theme for the cover as a teaser? I just wrote to Gothic Beauty about this as constructive criticism. Maybe we all have some advice for the magazine.

I'm with you. I don't really like the model. I think they should find new models and stop choosing models that are so plain. Her makeup scares me.

You make some very valid points... I hadn't even thought of a few of those. I too am a bit disappointed with it... and I don't even have it in my hands yet! From what I can tell, she is wearing a flesh-toned top...but it has no detailing on it, and we only really see the neckline. Not to mention... it makes the shot look unnecessarily racy. I don't think that is the vibe they were initially going for.

The model looked CGed to me.

Her mouth just looks really odd to me.

Especially with the teeth.

That is a good idea. If it weren't for us, GB wouldn't exist.

Maybe for some reason the readers aren't as attractive as the models.

Sometimes I don't think so. But then my bf tells me I'm beautiful and I'm like, "Pfft, yeah right."
But I guess I lucked out with him. He likes a 'dark' girl with curves. And that i do have. I guess I have to learn to be quiet on that subject

I complain all the time about my body. I get slapped when I call myself fat, so I do it quietly.

^I'm the opposite way. I tell people I'm a effing Goddess and they should be kissing my feet. Of course I have my own insecurities...but I much rather prefer to make people around me uncomfortable than to dwell on them.

And I also agree about GB readers modeling. There are so many pretty people here. Another thing to consider too is letting men model more often.

Well, making no headway about my stolen order. It's basically "we can't help what the post office does, all your money are belong to us, neener."
