| Diva, it's just another one of those silly cutesy things that people do that make me want to puke :-)
Sorry, I'm a bit negative today.....
EDIT: On the subject of silly cutesy things, has anyone seen those little family stick figure stickers that people put on the back of their cars (usually a Hummer or some other unnecessarily large vehicle). EURGH!

| Diva its in the water I swear...they put some sort of "Lets get married and have babies the same time then we can go on playdates" additive!! OMG Albinasamara I hate those things Like we want to know that you have two cats a dog and three boys..... I cannot stand seeing the cars where the drivers let their children put stickers on the back windows of their cars. I got a triple does of pj bottoms and the muffin top showing today at the grocery. | |

| I really hate it when co-workers go on vacation and bring me back crap. Seriously, I'd rather they don't bring me anything at all than give me ugly cheap useless crap. My boss got back from Cancun and brought me back a small insulin-type bottle filled with sand and some unidentifiable blue liquid (stuff did not look or move like water). WTF? And then the worse part is you have to look like you appreciate the "gesture" and keep the damn thing prominently on the desk, even though it's ugly and tacky and you really don't like it. Seriously, dude, next time, don't get me anything. Or just mail me a postcard. | |

| Diva I agree....my grandmother will insist on gifting me frilly, lacy, cutesy girly things.
Now I like frills and lace, don't get me wrong. And I am a total girl. But PINK with WHITE LACE and FLOWERS and BUTTERFLIES?!??!??! No.
But I accept them graciously. And stash them away where they can't be seen.

| ^^ I cannot stand that either. That is why I do not go to those "all you can eat" buffets . The people there make me sick when they eat. I just found a new pet peeve ; people who burp without saying excuse me. Happen to me yesterday in the grocery line, this guy just burped and when I turned around and looked he just stood there like the perfect little . | |

| I really hate it when people chew anything (including gum) like a cow.
Every time I go to a thrift store and see a shirt made in really lovely fabric it always turns out to be a plain old button down top. Can't companies make something a little more respectable then a button down top when they have such lovely fabrics.

Something that drives me up the wall: MOANY FACEBOOKERS! You know who I'm talking about. The people who's status updates generally consist of a. Such and Such is sooooooooooooooooo tired b. Such and Such did not get ANY sleep last night. c. It's going to be a long day. d. Such and Such is coming down with a cold. ):
And then that's all they ever post about. Oh, and they usually have an army of sympathizers who rush to laud these individuals with their comiserations.

| ^^I think the facebook applications requests are worse.
How about people who say (and probably believe) that just because they don't want other races dead, they're not racist but continually make racist jokes.
Or those ignorant enough to say "This is America, we speak English" even though there is no official national Language in America.
Factory workers and such who b!tch and moan about their jobs and how hard they have it yet they ask "German? What job can you get with that?!"
Or how about how the school systems around here complain that they don't have enough money for this and that, yet each of the districts around here had to give back a few million each that they didn't use? Yet they continually take out the courses that would help their students the most like music, art, and secondary language study. A teacher's yearly salary isn't that much.
Those that think that sports programs are the most important school programs there are. Who cares if only a small percentage of the student body goes out for sports?
Or, I go into a book store and the most I can find for foreign language education is tourists phrase books. Once in a while I can find a 501 ______ Verbs, or a POCKET dictionary, or a "basic" grammar primer that uses more English vocabulary than an English Professor... What? Are they afraid of people actually being proficient in another language?
People who care more about telling their own stories and such than watching their kids.
People who ride the system because they are too lazy to go out and get a job. (Not those who CAN'T find a job, those who don't WANT to).
People who continually disrupt class because they don't understand it and want to have people focus on them instead of trying to understand what the professor is saying.
The poor educational standards that made it possible for the above mentioned to graduate high school.
People who judge you based on what you own/drive rather than your character..
.............I think that's enough for now.. |

In the south, football is GOD. Without fail, schools will cut funding for performing arts programs just to give the football team new jerseys every year. And then, those jocks are given a pass when they fail every course simply because they can.

| My pet peeve.... People who don't hold the door for me. I'm walking right behind them and the let the door shut on my face. And electric scooters. There are some people who get away with using it because they pretend they need it when really they are lazy. A couple of times, on my way to the gallery I found 3 of them side by side blocking the sidewalk. Like hello?? WTF!! Then I have cops telling Michael to ride on the road. They should get the damn scooter people to ride on the road. They go so fast. They don't slow down. And a couple of times I had to jump out of the way. | |

| People who have a rabid hatred of all things popular for no other reason except that they're popular... Probably so they can appear smart. I mean, holy crap, I get tired of all the Hannah Montanna/JoBro stuff all over everywhere but I'm not going to incessantly rant about them or wish them to be dipped in acid. | |

| My peeves are similar to what's been recently mentioned. Irresponsible people ("Someone else will take care of it! Not my problem!") Willfully ignorant people (the kind that can learn something new, but choose not to) And a subdivision of Willfully Ignorant: people who abuse/mutilate languages. There are people in this state that actually say "irregardless"! But the one that really, oh really gets me is the pronunciation of "espresso" as though there's an X in it. I can't even type it out!! | |
