^^ I'm with both of you -- I don't get the Ugg fascination. In fact I don't get the whole "I'm wearing something hideous, aren't I cute" fascination among mainstream teens and young adults. lol

That sign (note pad page) is funny and pisses me off too. Granted the protest on Wall Street is being hijacked by the appearance of Hollywood and music personalities who have no idea what is happening, useless hippies and their dopey jaded views will always infest a protest of any kind, and minority groups who are promoting their own useless agendas have to show up. Yet how is it not viewed as an issue that the bankers, wall street and the federal reserve use the guaranteed debt owed by the populace as a bargaining tool, they still help ruin the job and banking markets, are not held accountable, get bailed out, but no jobs can be formed. So millions of college students are told that going to school will better their lives, they get into 30, 40, 50 thousand dollars of debt, than leave school and can't get work to pay off their bills. Because McDonald's will definitely cover the cost of interest those student loans accrue.
It's funny
Agreed.

Or when they wear them with shorts during the summer. Ugh, that's just bad fashion.

At work last night, and I'm not sure how it started really, but we were trying to imagine how awesome the offspring from various characters would be had they ever got it on; a good one suggested was the child of Hello Kitty and Felix the Cat, as it would probably be the coolest cat ever.
I suggested that if Where's Waldo and Carmen San Diego ever had a kid, we wouldn't know, because you'd never see them.

Unexplainable? Erm... no..
1. Prohibition propaganda 2. Either pride in the gross (maybe someone gave birth), or a practical joke. 3. Looks like Halloween. Due to the person's legs, I'm guessing either a kid or a woman. 4. The health risks of smoking weren't really known for a while. Kids were allowed to smoke early on. The chicken is probably either a pet or a family reference. 5. Family photo. Most likely a father and a daughter. 6. Pet bear playing with a kid. Possibly a circus bear. 7. Semi-artistic shot. The skeleton may have been a way to remind people of a friend that had passed or those men gloating that they bought a skeleton. 8. The original Mr. Popper's Penguins. 9. Pet panda. 10. Either some weird family harvest thing or two hunters that like to dress up funny. 11. Circus/Side show/traveling entertainment act. Read the bottom for their name. 12. Kid trying to fix the board, the chicken is just there. 13. Early ad for Rubber products (in particular, boots). 14. Candid family camera shot of a kid in sunday/wedding best smoking. see #4. 15. Either she, or the person she's mourning was a boxer. 16. Family child's photo that's trying to be Shirley Temple type cute. 17. Either a side show act or just two guys making a racial joke. 18. Artistic. 19. WW2 era or later ? Stage shows can be strange when one doesn't know the show/point. 20. Man that's showing off a gun (new?) with two female friends/family in the background. 21. Either a rich woman with exotic tastes or a circus girl. 22. Candid family photo. 23. Soldier (?) posing for shits and giggles. People do stupid stuff in the military. 24. Probably this person's version of a baby harness. 25. Artistic portrait. 26. Experiment in making an all terrain vehicle. 27. Before animal rights, people had animals do very odd things for entertainment. 28. Artistic. Same lady as #18? 29. Lady with her pet goats. Those things like to climb so a slide would be a good 'toy' to have. 30. Family portrait where they try making the kid dress as the rest to make it look cute. 31. Close up of an armadillo. Either a pet, one they killed. 32. Family portrait where the man is trying to show off that he is a diver. 33. Cheap prison (?) entertainment. I see guard towers and some type of winged crest. 34. Beauty pageant where the contestants are wearing black masks with lacy bottoms so judges focus on their bodies and not their faces. 35. Americana. Hasn't really changed much has it? 36. Candid shot of a kid in a costume. 37. Circus photo. 38. Two people posing with a fake cucumber/pickle. Probably because they made it. 39. Fat kid either eating the watermelon or pissed that he has to give it to someone else. 40. Circus side show members. "tallest man" holding "smallest man" with tall man's wife at his side. 41. Candid family photo of a kid playing in a trap/fish or bird basket. 42. Boy scout and cub scout standing next to a poster. Poster against violence/war I think. 43. Sailor taking care of a taxidermied fox head. 44. Tuba section of a band making fun of themselves by referencing their sound with that of a train horn. 45. Family photo of a mom and daughter and someone who doesn't like their picture being taken. Probably the dad. 46. Artistic photo of science and mathematics defeating superstition/witchcraft. 47. (I swear this one is to crisp/clear to be un-photoshopped) Artistic portrait. 48. Candid picture of person with pet bear. 49. Costume party. 50. Child portrait. The saw would mean something to the family.

One afternoon a lawyer was riding in his limousine when he saw two men along the road-side eating grass.
Disturbed, he ordered his driver to stop and got out to investigate.
He asked one man, "Why are you eating grass?"
"We don't have any money for food," the poor man replied. "We have to eat grass."
"Well, then, you can come with me to my house and I'll feed you," the lawyer said.
"But sir, I have a wife and two children with me. They are over there, under that tree."
"Bring them along," the lawyer replied.
Turning to the other poor man he stated, "You may come with us, also." The second man, in a pitiful voice, then said, "But sir, I also have a wife and SIX children with me!"
"Bring them all as well," the lawyer answered.
They all entered the car, which was no easy task, even for a car as large as the limousine was.
Once under way, one of the poor fellows turned to the lawyer and said, "Sir, you are too kind."
"Thank you for taking all of us with you.
The lawyer replied, "Glad to do it. "You'll really love my place. "The grass is almost a foot high." -- . Come on now...you really didn't think there was such a thing as a heartwarming lawyer story...did you???
