^^ I'm with both of you -- I don't get the Ugg fascination. In fact I don't get the whole "I'm wearing something hideous, aren't I cute" fascination among mainstream teens and young adults. lol

1. Prohibition propaganda
2. Either pride in the gross (maybe someone gave birth), or a practical joke.
3. Looks like Halloween. Due to the person's legs, I'm guessing either a kid or a woman.
4. The health risks of smoking weren't really known for a while. Kids were allowed to smoke early on. The chicken is probably either a pet or a family reference.
5. Family photo. Most likely a father and a daughter.
6. Pet bear playing with a kid. Possibly a circus bear.
7. Semi-artistic shot. The skeleton may have been a way to remind people of a friend that had passed or those men gloating that they bought a skeleton.

33. Cheap prison (?) entertainment. I see guard towers and some type of winged crest.
34. Beauty pageant where the contestants are wearing black masks with lacy bottoms so judges focus on their bodies and not their faces.
35. Americana. Hasn't really changed much has it?
36. Candid shot of a kid in a costume.
37. Circus photo.
38. Two people posing with a fake cucumber/pickle. Probably because they made it.
39. Fat kid either eating the watermelon or pissed that he has to give it to someone else.
40. Circus side show members. "tallest man" holding "smallest man" with tall man's wife at his side.
41. Candid family photo of a kid playing in a trap/fish or bird basket.
42. Boy scout and cub scout standing next to a poster. Poster against violence/war I think.
43. Sailor taking care of a taxidermied fox head.
44. Tuba section of a band making fun of themselves by referencing their sound with that of a train horn.
45. Family photo of a mom and daughter and someone who doesn't like their picture being taken. Probably the dad.
46. Artistic photo of science and mathematics defeating superstition/witchcraft.
47. (I swear this one is to crisp/clear to be un-photoshopped) Artistic portrait.

50. Child portrait. The saw would mean something to the family.

One afternoon a lawyer was riding in his limousine when he
saw two men along the road-side eating grass.

Disturbed, he ordered his driver to stop and got out to investigate.

He asked one man, "Why are you eating grass?"

"We don't have any money for food," the poor man replied.
