The swelling of my foot went down, my podiatrist took the stitches out and I don't have to wear the surgical shoe anymore! I have to wear sneakers for a bit, though. Oh, the the doctor looked super delicious this morning.

.... Hopefully it'll be a little more protected in a real shoe too. YaY's!

Had a quorn toad in the hole (ie a vegetarian version of sausages in batter).

Feel happy that I have eaten no animals tonight!!!!

Am so turning veggie at some point...........

After years of being ashamed of my body, I actually wore a skull tankini yesterday to a pool party and it felt so good. I was even told that I have an adorable belly

I can finally take showers again! Bubble baths just aren't as effective as a shower, especially when ya got one leg sticking out of the tub.

The weather today will be sunny and hot.
Yay..that means winter is gone. Not a fan of cold and snow.

Diva: I remember my husband having to tape a plastic bag to my arm before every shower when I was in the darn splint. Funny the little things you miss post-op, like showering without help!

Moon: Good to hear you're warming up -- it was 40 degrees here (Fahrenheit) when I got up, so it's weirdly cool down here for May.

Today is a good day. We're busy here, I'm researching artists so I can write up their biography pages, and I had fun helping one of my clients with his framing -- in part because he brought his dog with him.

And one of the people browsing the gallery said I belong in Hollywood and not here. I disagree, but it was still kind.
