Gothic Beauty Forums

For what ever reason I just popped over to see something I wrote there a while back and found that they're doing 'something' with it..... and for some reason it shows some members being logged in. Do you think they started it back up again? Granted all the new posts are for the gothic cruise, but oh well. It shows Orpheus as logged on (?!)

And in the "archived" forums (the ones we posted on) they seemed to have erased some posts. It's a bit odd reading them because it seems at times like we're talking to nobody. For example: my old Tutorials thread in the DIY section. Vanity Kills doesn't seem to be talking to anyone, but i could swear at one point she was talking to Badart. WTF?

Looks like they've made announcements on it from time to time regarding new issues... and now they have a section trying to whore out that gothic cruise nonsense.

Of course with the boards no longer being populated, it seems kinda stupid.

There are new members registering now, but I just looked, seemed the only forum they allow anyone to post in now is the Cruise ones.

It has nothing to do with the community or scene anymore as we all know, and I doubt it will again. It's just a big cash whore fest.

It's dead and gone and we don't need it anymore. Don't get me wrong, I am grateful to the forums for enabling me to "meet" and in some cases get to know so many wonderful people but let's face it we were absolutely shafted

I think they want to "erase" the past

It used to really anger me but now I know that something far, far better came from it

Well at least we've all still got each other.Whatever they do in the future or did in the past they enabled me to meet some of the best people I've ever known.For that I'm grateful.

That would violate the good name of the G.B. forums.I think we all knew this was comming after the unceremonious dumping we all got from there.We weren't making the magazine any money so we had to go.

I wonder how many trivia/contests I lost just because Parrish hated me..

I hope they don't delete too much stuff. I posted a lot of links and pictures there that I eventually know I'll need again (like some of the ones in the tutorial thread).

I'm still not sure why they were deleting some basic posts that continued conversations. Badart never posted anything bad either. Vanity Kills on the other hand... the only reason I can see that her posts are still there is because she's a model (and currently working with lip service).

It looks like some posts are deleted because Akasha and I were erased from the forum altogether and so all posts of ours were also deleted. It's like we never existed on that forum.

They're dumb for doing that. what'd you do to piss them off?

oh, and you missed all the fun last night! I was on here drunk as all hell and posting up a storm! I made a online journal with all the posts too

Yea I read that thread. Lol, I went to GB after reading your post here and all it is is just that same stupid "GothCruise" poster.

I didn't do anything to piss GB off lol. Akasha and I were just somehow booted from the system.
