| Oh My Gosh!!! Better check into this if your partical to the color black in regards to your vehicle, because soon they may no longer be legal!!! This color restriction focuses on that state of California , but if it catches on as a means to save energy could it end up being the state of all vehicles in the US? < Black Automobiles in the hot seat! | |

| I can really seriously understand the whole concept of certain cars taking more gasoline to cool off (especially those ones with the black leather interior). I myself have not had to have my car e-checked for a couple of years. It was one of those silly things that the government forced down our throats and acted like parents during the whole process. example: you have to e[check your car every year or you don't get your plates but we won't get our vehicles e-checked I just have to say this before they start banning certain colors because of the emission why don't the government take a long hard look at the vehicles that they drive and get them e-checked?I am pretty sure that a bus and a firetruck gives off enough emissions to make up for 4 black cars. | |

| Um, I think this is silly. I understand the concern for the environment and all, but I think some places get a little too carried away with it. If this passes, it will only open up the door to the government doing more things for the sake of the "greater good" that will eventually end up infringing on our freedoms . | |

| Exactly!!!! It's a one way street with the government they expect us to do for the environment but ignore that whole process for themselves. | |

You know something... here anyways, I haven't seen a newer hearse that is black. The only actual working furneral hearses I've seen are a sandy color or mintish green. I haven't found anything on what they will do in regards to cars already painted black. | |

| I guess my black two door Honda Civic with all black interior and sunroof is not allowed, even though I get 35 miles to the gallon. | |
