I just ate, I'm about to have a glass of hot chocolate, and I'm one journal away from having an entire week's worth of school work done... and classes only started today!! I really am starting to like online classes.

I'm happy because I finally found a birthday gift for my husband! Already gave it to him, though his b'day is tomorrow. The card will be a surprise, at least.

It's the start of hot chocolate weather if that makes sense.
Usually I crave hot chocolate this time of year.

Not happy that I wore out both wrists doing yardwork yesterday, and there's more to do today... but very happy that I have clients coming in from the Duke Lemur Center at 11:45 to have a look at the lemur illustrations we've been holding for them. So, I might be able to sell some art today! *fingers crossed*

The folks from the Lemur Center came by to have a look at our illustrations, and they're interested in *four!* And one of them would like another art piece for himself, too. They're coming back in on Monday to finalize their choices and the framing.

The pieces are hard to sell b/c of their subject matter (lemurs & apes), and the frames they like best are also hard to sell because they're bamboo-look (but bamboo is appropriate for the subject in this case).

This is so exciting! dance

(And it makes me look like a kick-a$$ salesperson in front of my boss.)

I've eaten, I've showered, and am listening to good music before heading to work.

Oh, and I got my Comp teacher to agree with me about the replies of my classmates being redundant for doing nothing but agreeing and repeating what the previous person wrote (in two sentences also).... I'm still not pulling too high of hopes for discussion in the class though... A lot of them are already coming off as bible-thumpers. One actually replied to me (in a "Rap is Killing Our Youth" essay discussion) that they just needed a little more gospel music. Rolling Eyes

It was actually really funny. We have a fire escape at the direct back of our office and on Friday some scally kids had been climbing up it and jumping onto the flat roof.

They were back this afternoon and I was dithering about by the door thinking of admonishing them when Gareth strode in, pushed me in a very manly manner out of the way and took them on. My knight in a pin striped suit! Laughing

- I got my electricity back on today after two days of dark and cold dance

- None of the food in my fridge that I bought on saturday went bad devildance

- My friend brought me some starbucks today grin

- My math test has been pushed back until next wednesday isntead of monday witch

- I got paid today woohoo

- I got two swim suit tops for work on sale for $5 each nurse

- I'm trying to keep a good attitude twards life and I get to go swimming at work today exited
