Random Thoughts

The problem with friending new people on Facebook is that they start digging around your profile and timeline and start "liking" and commenting on really random things that you forgot about. Like that one picture of you without makeup posing awkwardly on the bow of your friend's boat back in 2008.

You know what I want: I want to feel like someone desires me and I can't dismiss them as being mentally ill or desperate. I want a hot guy to tell me I'm cute--just once--and not trying to do it because he is trying to score points or get a quick lay (I have to be content with cute because hot is not physically possible for me).

^^^^ reverse the gender there and I want one too, I also wouldn't mind someone just walking up to say hello without adding "sir would you please leave"

This is the only place I can b!tch about how I feel about myself, which is something I keep personal, because I know no on here is going to jump me for voicing my own insecurities.

Out to dinner with friends for someone's birthday and I am convinced birthday girl is high. She's acting pretty weird. Just sayin'.

Yep we do. Always OK here, Ginger. That's one great thing about this forum. I know I appreciate it too. It's been a sh!tty year so far (for a lot of my friends too) and I've been thankful for the chance to vent without repercussions.

Is it weird that I donated money for my boyfriends ex's funeral cost? We absolutely hated each other in high school. She would go around telling people how I stole her boyfriend from her, and that I was a satanic witch intent on hurting her and her family. All of which was a lie, of course, even though I did want to hurt her. However, she passed over the weekend, leaving behind a small child. The family do not have the money to bury her, and has been asking for donations. I donated what I could and I think my boyfriend (her ex) is donating too. I guess I'm not as mean and vicious as she put me out to be in high school.

I think it may be the presence of a child that prompted you.

While most psychology students are extremely extroverted I am not. People seem to think there's something wrong with me because I keep to myself and don't socialize a whole lot outside of a few select people. One of my good friends from school says that some folks think I'm stuck up. Kinda makes me feel bad. I'm really down to earth, I'm just not that social. :/

Ya know, I really don't like being around stupidly drunk people, especially when they think they're hilarious.

I am going through the same thing right now. Had a guy at one of my jobs say that I was really quiet for a bartender, which was relayed by one of the ladies I work with at the bar. Firstly, I've only met this person a couple of times, and secondly, I am not overly loud and have quiet tendencies, especially when I meet knew people. Leave me alone about it.
