I feel Happy

I'm happy because my husband comes back from Helsinki/Amsterdam today. I hope he brought me back some candy.

Had such a wonderful weekend: was in my friend's wedding, danced like crazy, caught up with friends, laughed a lot, and slept a TON. I came back looking 5 years younger, easily. There is no Botox, Juvederm, vibradermabrasion, laser treatment or skin-tightening device that can take the place of 3 days of friends, mirth, dancing and sleep!

Getting a bonus on top of my bonus from work next month.

Applied for a marketing assistant position with the local hospital a few weeks ago... and got an email indicating that my application has been passed on to the hiring manager... From the looks of it, the pay would probably allow me to finally buy a car.

Also contacted the jewelry store where I interviewed before starting at my current job -- they expect to choose a candidate for the position by the end of next week. The manager was impressed with my knowledge of metals during the interview. This one would be full-time, hourly plus commission, and full benefits.

And looking forward to an art opening at the start of July: I modeled necklaces for a buddy of mine a few months ago, and at least one of the pics will be on exhibit at a local coffeehouse.

Finished a draft of my Mesoamerican Art midterm. It really isn't a full enough exploration of the subject matter, but given the documents I had to work with, it'll do.

No need to spend hundreds of dollars on a new summer wardrobe. My mom still had my old dresses from the last time I lost weight a few years back and they all fit! Many fit even better than before! It's a good thing I tend to stick to more traditional stuff that doesn't really go out of fashion.

After tomorrow I get the rest of the week off.

I did well in both of my spring classes! And raised my GPA quite a bit

Spent the day at the lake. Family lives there, private access only, quite nice.

I saw the bf when I went to go visit him. It was awesome.

My roommates's money for his share of the hotel room finally showed up in my account. Yippee! I needed a little extra spending money.

Also, this is the first time in a very long while that I have felt completely stress free. No worries about work, money, and the obnoxious people in my life. These two weeks I'll focus soley on school, and making my way to the Mall of America.

Finally am going to be able to see Nekromantix! They have made it to Detroit a couple of times before, but I always forgot the dates. NOT THIS TIME!!!

Oooh, sounds gorgeous and very comfortable! So where did you find great inexpensive new bedding? Our duvet cover needs replacing soon.

Earlier this evening I got some great words of encouragement from a good friend of mine. Reminded me how far I've come, and that fate will take a beneficial course only if I stay true to myself.

Shipping was super fast too!
I searched around the stores, but couldn't find the colors I wanted for the price I needed. Plus, didn't want to buy cheap sheets that need replaced in a year or so.
