I think she trimmed her bangs.
Last week she almost blew the house up by leaving the gas stove on.
I am really concerned she will destroy the house and I will loose my deposit. What should I do?????? I have already talked to her about it. Should I get the landlord involved?? Whose name is on the lease? If only yours, I'm not sure how much your landlord would care. Then again, you might have one that's better than the ones I've had. It never hurts to ask I guess. If nothing else, buy locks for all the cabinets and doors? |

You have to watch it. She rep[lied "that boring, what am I supposed to do." She did not understand that leaving food cooking on an open flame is dangerous.

| I asked my professor for an extension on a paper and she gave me three three extra days. However, when she graded my paper she took off a ton of points for being late. I thought being granted an extension meant not losing any points for lateness. Should I email her and remind her that I was granted an extension? Or should I be a big girl and take my C in the class? | |

| Why is it that the only person with whom I can truly be intimate with is someone too old to be within a romantic relationship? I guess I'll have to take what I can which is better than what I expected for my life. | |

| I just got back from the doctor's today. I broke my ankle and had surgery on it in July. But an infection set in along part of the incision, and almost 5 months later its still not healed. I went to a wound care specialist and they gave me stuff to help it start healing, but its going to be another 5 months of changing bandages. X__X At the very least I am a pro at changing bandages now. If you ever get seriously hurt around me short of needing stitches you're set! But I am thankful to be walking again. The only real issue now is I can't re-dye my hair until its healed. (I've had ugly faded green/blonde hair for months with like 4 in of root growth. I may just buy a few wigs until its over.) | |

| Taking care of that infection is the most important, no jokes, take every measure and precaution you have to get well. You're going to just have to own that hair, own that in-need of dye and root work hair like you wanted it to look that way. | |

| Thanks, and they say you don't really fully recover from injuries like this. It'll scar over, but I'll be feeling it in the scar tissue every time the weather gets bad. Not to mention keeping up with the exercises I was doing in physical therapy!
Oh definitely. I may joke about in online, but I'm taking every precaution. I know what may look small now may become worse if I don't. I'm just glad that I won't have to take another semester off school. But luckily I always wear high stockings+boots, and I'm no stranger to wigs for extended periods of time. I suppose I'm lucky to say that's the worst of it!

| ^^ Lolita, Spooky is right -- glad to hear you are taking good care of the injury; that's the best effort you can give to your body's own healing process. Hope you're feeling better soon! The hair issue -- ugh! I can imagine. I get antsy when I can see even 1/2" of the weird ashy color growing in at the top of the red. Wigs would be great, if you can find a good-quality buy not budget-breaking one. Spooky's suggestion of "owning it" -- well, a little Color Bug on the ends might help make the multicolor thing look more intentional. And it washes right out. It runs around $25, and comes in 3 colors. Color Bug | |

| Dealing with the financial/paperwork aspect of a study abroad is about as bad as pulling teeth.
Speaking of teeth, does that feeling of changing weather that you guys are talking about also apply to the mouth/jaw? In 2007, when I was in the army, I had my wisdom teeth removed by an army 'orthodontist' who did a number on my mouth and face (couldn't eat real food for a month or more, puffed up like a squirrel, and had bruises going from the corners of my mouth all the way down my neck. He didn't think it was necessary to knock me out for it or to break the teeth apart to extract them; he loved the crowbar action). I only ask because yesterday my jaw really REALLY hurt to the point I thought I was getting lockjaw. This morning it felt better after it snowed a little. |

| RedAngel, thanks! And thanks for the suggestion!!! I'll have to look into that color bug stuff, it looks like it may help. I used to do cosplay so I've found some fantastic cheap but realistic wig shops. Arda Wigs and Gothic Lolita Wigs both have great prices and look about as close to real hair as you can get with synthetic. Though, I might just ask the lady at the salon to bleach the whole thing light blonde and use a toner. That way there's not a ton of color rinsing out every time. (I've always wanted silver/white hair.)
And I think the whole feeling the temperature/season changes thing happens anywhere there's scar tissue or where there was a break. So it sounds like it would apply. I don't really know if its different for jaw injuries.

| I wanna b!tch about work. I'm sick of the mood swings these people get. I'm sick of the fact that we (myself and co-workers) are expected to work a lot but we only get minimum wage. Not liking the fact that instead of working right up until the 21st, we may be working on the 17th and then having our holiday start on the 18th. That's almost 3 weeks off from my school job. I'm gonna get a one day pay check??!? Thank god I have the gallery to make up some hours. I also need to be smart with my money once Christmas is out of the way. There is talk that the future in law is moving out some time in the new year which means FINALLY after 8 years I can move in with the fella. | |

| ^^ That sucks (the work situation). My work is run by idiots too. I won't get into it right now, but I'll say one thing: *I* was the idiot for having complained about my old gallery job. I didn't know I could wind up working for much worse people, with more issues and less integrity. But now, I need to b!tch about this: someone I know is displeased about so many Etsy sellers accepting only Paypal for payment. She doesn't want to use Paypal, so she is instead buying only from sellers who also accept credit cards directly. Which kind of stinks for those of us who aren't paying the extra cash for the credit card accepting service. So my question is, what's so bad about using Paypal? You can even check out as a guest, with your card, and not create a login. What am I missing about this? | |

| Me to my roommate: "hey, here is what you owe for your half of the bills." I need the money by Monday bc they are due Friday."
Roomie: "Well I just spent all my money."
Me: "I told you 2 weeks ago when the mail came, when they would be due."
Roomie: "Well, the due date on the bill isnt when they bills are actually do. They still give you time to pay after."
Me: no
.....and that is why you have terrible credit. I did get the money on time. She got money from her parents.

| We've been telling building management for over a month now about the repairs needed in our apartment after that nasty leak with no response. Last night out of the blue the building manager texted my husband to inform him that the painters were in the building and to ask if we wanted them to stop by. Um 1. thanks for late notice you a**hole. You knew they were going to be in the building but you didn't say anything until the last minute. 2. I think we need more than "painters" to repair our ceiling and walls. 3. At 8:30 pm on a weeknight I don't necessarily want to deal with repair people. I just want to relax. We told the building manager no and asked to schedule repairs for another day. | |

This time around it was a leak from the upstairs bathroom that damaged part of my bedroom wall and ceiling. We just got back from Home Depot where we bought paint for our bedroom wall.

A lot of European languages have some Roman letters within their alphabet, so this seems a bit fishy to me.

| Agonizing over what to get my brothers and their kids for Christmas. Ugh! At this point it's not even a money thing - I genuinely don't know what to get them and my one "attempt" at shopping at a store left me tired, frustrated and empty-handed. | |
