Random Thoughts

Almost every zombie flick I have seen follows the same formula:  Zombie outbreak occurs due to x; most people die; the few survivors begrudgingly band together; survivors turn on one another; the infighting alerts zombies to their location; many in the group die; at least one survives to go it alone; end.  I have only seen a couple of films that deviate from that formula because the story starts well within the outbreak (Resident Evil series excluded).

I've taken up watching Archer on Netflix recently after seeing a couple of episodes at a friends house.

Archer: [talking about a mind control chip placed in a rabbit] Can you put it in a person's brain?
Krieger: It'd suffocate...
Archer: Not the rabbit, idiot; the chip.
Krieger: Oh, yes. Absolutely.
Archer: Without killing the person?
Krieger: Oh. Maybe?

I love this show.

Archer, good times, some of my favorite lines are;

Will be going to my aunt's funeral Monday. Not sure how I'll hold up considering the circumstance.

sooo, found out about someone that died at the a$$ end of last year. I can't say I care, I'm actually really neutral to them being dead and you could say they were something of a nemesis for me at one point, but at the same time I find no joy in the news. At the end of the day no matter how much of a f**ktard they were or they made their persona out to be for the public eye there's still a family that lost someone

I really think that the only reason why Americans don't like M. Night Shyamalan is because he presents stories that do not follow the Hollywood formula of predictability.

Friend wants to celebrate her birthday in the U.S. Virgin Islands next year, July 2014, and has invited a a crapload of us. She plans on renting a large house for the week and splitting the cost with each person. While I really do love this friend and would love to celebrate her birthday with her I just can't g along with her plans. 1. I can't make that kind of commitment that far in advance. 2. My vacation time will be very limited next year (internship and whatnot) and the USVI isn't even in my top 20 list of places I want to visit, so I don't want to waste what little time I have on this. 3. There's a good chance a rented house won't have all the amenities of a hotel. 3. Traveling in a group is a nightmare for an introvert like me. 4. There is no privacy in a house full of 10+ people. 5. When my friends travel in a group, they want to do EVERYTHING as a group. My husband tends to be a follower, so he'll probably just go along with whatever everyone else says. Ain't nobody got time fo dat!

Why do people insist on throwing extravagant parties for minor dates when it always bankrupts them?

Feeling neutral about going back to work tomorrow after having last week off. I know there will be a ton of crap for me to catch up with but I'm not stressed out about it.

I just realized something, Albert Wesker from Resident Evil is much like the Abrahamic god.

Wholesome: an adjective used mostly to describe something that promotes what a society has deemed as good morals or anything geared towards children; for me, wholesome should describe or completes the larger picture, and anything that focuses on good morals fails to do so. To be wholesome, a story must not be censored either for content or language and thus unabashedly shows the realities of life.

I was just looking at pictures for that Sleepy Hollow show that's coming to Fox...not sure those costumes are historically accurate, but whatever.  

Am I the only one that thinks is funny there's a reality competition show called "Top Hooker", and its about fishing. I'd also like to know how much laughing was going on in the animal planet offices when they decided to call the show "top hooker", or if the joke was completely missed.

No doubt the name is calculate to titillate the overly prudish Americans into watching.

I'm sorry I've been absent for so long. Been having mood problems, and still working on how to deal with them.

^^^You need to move or find some type of meaningful self-employment that won't break your finances. I think that's the basis of most of your problems anyway.
