I feel Happy

Receiving money is good! I found out today that I am getting $389 from school refunds & $750.00 from a scholarship! This makes me feel so much better

I'm happy because after numerous tries I have perfected my meringues so that I can make ghosts

Also happy because I decorated my porch for Halloween today and I've seen a six foot long garden skeleton with a noose around his neck!

I think I'm actually looking forward to this work week. We have 13 frames to make for one order, and though we've finished cleaning out the frame moulding bins, it's time to get rid of the spare plywood we have on hand (for increasing the width/depth of frames and stretcher bars). I like being busy with a steady flow of work. I also really like being physically active at work: all the bending, reaching, hauling have made my clothes just a smidge looser.

My first class and last two classes of today was canceled. That means I only had to be on campus for an hour today.

My off day was made awesome by a kind stranger at the park. I had to get out of this house so I went out to the park because the weather was beautiful & it's my place to sit & reflect on things & find solace. I was sitting under one of my favorite trees (yes, I have favorite trees at places I frequent) & I hear one of the park rangers come up behind me on the four-wheeler. I look behind me & it was one of the younger guys & he asked me if I was ok. I told him yeah that I was enjoying the weather & just wanted to get out of the house for a while. We sat & talked for a while & he mentioned he was wanting to go fishing & I told him that I would have brought a fishing pole but all of ours need restrung & I don't have a fishing license. So he decided he would go get some poles & we would hang out on the dock & fish. Then my friend Chet came out to visit me when he got off work & that was great also. So we all just hung around talking & watched a beautiful sunset. It was exactly what I needed

Got the job.

They were one of Fortune Magazine's Top 100 Companies to Work For in 2010.

Vincent Price's Last Man on Earth is playing tonight at the local theater. So excited to see one of my favorite movies on the "big-screen".

I'm re-dyeing my hair tonight. Been putting it off for over a week. The process is a pain in the butt, but the results are always worth it.

All I did was plant the idea in one friend's head and she ran with it - she sent an email to everyone who's coming and everyone seemed to be cool with it. I can't believe it myself. LOL

Just finished 11 consecutive work days ranging from 9-12 hours long each. It's finally over! And the Battlefield 3 launch didn't go nearly as badly as I expected!

I'm blessed to have a great mom. We were talking about bills and she told me she wants to do something for me. She is planning on trying to work out being able to give me money for my car loan so I can pay it off and not pay interest. That way I would just have to pay her back when I have the money and not have to pay extra for anything so I can start saving up my money for when I get out of college to pay back student loans.

I had a good time at my birthday party last night, even though I still felt sick. We went to local steak house and dressed up like cowboys. The waitress seemed a bit confused even after we explained that we were playing dress up for a little fun. I think she thought we were from out of town.

Anyways, Michael was gonna spend the night. But left. Apologized for getting smashed. And mentioned that our relationship was hard to explain. I complete him (His words )
So that made me happy AFTER I was totally pissed

He must be one of those "I love you so much" drunks--the kind that, whilst sober, keeps their emotions in check but completely looses that inhibition when they get drunk.
