Went to substitute training today. My certificate of completion was issued on "Marchy 26". Made it all worthwhile.

Yesterday scored a good 1/3 cup of saffron for $3. It almost felt like I was robbing the poor owner of the market stall where I bought it. The saffron was in an unlabeled, unpriced bag, which is the only reason I was able to buy it at that price.

^^I don't think I've ever had saffron. I would like to try that and cooking with lavender. I love lavender ice cream so I would like to try cooking other things with it.

DCGG, lavender is divine in cooking. I don't do much savory cooking with it (since the only savory recipes I can find for it are meat-based) but I do a lot of sweet cooking/baking with it. It tastes excellent when added to a basic vanilla cake recipe, scones, breads, muffins, or added to jams. It pairs super-well with roses (another one of my favorite flavors.)

I just DJ'ed for the school's radio for the past 3 hours. The manager of the station, who just so happens to be the station manager. He told me I'm the fastest learning person he has ever trained. He had me work the controls and the station by myself and would check in on me. He said I sounded perfect compared to most people and I belong on radio. He is giving me a test next week and if I pass I get my own show.

I'm home today, not feeling so great, but I get to catch up on sleep. That's definitely the "happy" part.

I talked to one advisor today (and the other advisor tomorrow). Apparently I won't be as far behind as I thought with GenEds after the transfer... there's a few history classes I can take that will also take care of some of my GenEds... and there's a chance I can test out of the health and wellness requirement.

What kind of classes would be in health and wellness? I ask because I have not had that as a requirement.

^^^I have no idea. I think it's supposed to be a conglomeration of health, exercise, and nutrition stuff but I could be wrong. The way to test out is to take a test with 80 multiple choice questions... apparently people have a hard time passing it without taking a class.
