I feel Happy

Had a few of our regulars say that they'd rather us have the money than the Hooter's girls
They weren't really the brightest bulbs around either

Some of my family is coming up to see me tomorrow. I'm super excited. My mom is even bringing my other dogs up with her.

Because of the joyous occasion I'm going to do my best to not get distracted today. Hence why I'm getting it out of my system now. I have to redo my big paper, do all of my reading homework, laundry, vacuum, and clean the entire apartment. I'm not sure if I'm going to leave the reading homework and quiz until after they leave tomorrow, saturday, or today. My goal is to get everything done today and just sprinkles of stuff to do later.

When initially clearing out/cleaning up the vacant lot where my garden plot currently is, I found some strawberry plants growing underneath some brushy weeds. Naturally, I put them into my plot.

Today I went by to check on them, and while they seemed like they were dying last week, this week they seem to have sprung back, and are starting to fruit! There was already a single ripe berry, which was so satisfying.

I'm super excited because my mom, uncle, cousin, and my other two dogs are coming up for a visit. They should be here in the next hour. Unfortunately I was so excited I couldn't sleep all night. So now my eyes and head are protesting. I'm still super excited though.

Veggie burger with turkey bacon for lunch. Got some honey mustard to go with my pretzels for later.

My mom was finally able to get disability. This came at the best possible time, because I was down to my last $50 (after lending most of my student loan money to my parents), they had very little money since my dad only works a few nights a week, and I was starting to wonder how I could afford to eat or buy my meds.

It's not a lot of money, but it's enough for us to survive. And I can finally buy a few extra things that I've been putting off getting; like clothing and pajamas that aren't completely trashed, and boots that don't have holes worn through the soles.

Eating well is very easy now. I don't even want any of the crap I used to eat.

I'm very happy I have a good family support system-especially my mom. I told her about the message my dad left & we talked more about it & she made me feel better. Also told the man about it & some of the other stuff that was on my mind & he helped also.

Today makes 4 yrs G and I have been married. We're going to Maryland tomorrow, and staying for the weekend. Seeing his folks and some of our friends up there. We're taking Milo, so wish us luck! (He's made the trip up before, back in Dec., but we're hoping he can stay a little calmer this time.)

^^Congratulations! In about 3 weeks the Mr. and I will be celebrating our 8th wedding anniversary. Time really does fly! LOL

It feels great to be home. I had a fun time going out to eat with my mom and uncle. Now my night will be awesome if I get to see matt. He told me they might let him out at 10. It's 10:09 and I haven't heard from him yet.

Thanks to a pair of leggings and a minimizer bra, I am able to wear a dress that's two sizes to small for me and still look good.

I went for a bike ride. It's a gorgeous day

My finger tips no longer feel like fire is melting them. Granted, they do feel like husks but I would rather have that feeling then the former.

^^That's good to hear they're doing better. Still sounds very painful

I woke up a couple of times during the night to be greeted by a very precious sight from what amounts to a very mean cat. One of my arms was out stretched beside me and the cat snuggled up against it, draping one of her front legs over it.
