| Why is it that I am constantly seeking to validate my own thoughts on my situation? I already know that guys see me as unattractive because of my weight (studies show that men prefer thinner women), but since I already know this, why do I keep seeking to confirm it? I guess I'm a masochist for that feeling of self debasement. | |

You know there's more to attractiveness than weight, right? Besides, not all dues are into skinny chicks. Many like a little extra chub. Maybe you've just been approaching the wrong men?

- I don't get it. Why do some women make themselves appear like they have no life after they have a kid? Like, they're no longer a person themselves. They change their profile and cover pictures to pictures of their kids and post nothing but stuff on parenting. I mean, good for you for having a kid, but I'm friends with you, not your kid.
Ah, yes, "Mommy Syndrome". I'm at this stage in my life where most of my female friends have a kid or two or are currently pregnant. Yep, a few of them have stopped being people. I know that once you have a kid it does change your life - you're not really able to just get up and go like you used to, and your schedule pretty much revolves around the kid - but some folks just take it to an extreme. I have one friend whom I have not seen since she had her first child two years ago. She just had her second a few months back. Her Facebook page is now all play dates and potty training. I miss her. Having said that, there are still plenty of mothers out there who are still able to do their own thing while having children. Both my sisters-in-law are like that. Both have children but still manage to live their lives and be themselves.

| ^^^The one I'm thinking about on facebook, I've only met once at a concert. I'd debating whether I should just delete her or not. Her current life revolves around the kid, being a housewife, becoming a doula, making baked goods for new mothers (the stuff she makes is supposed to help with lactation apparently), and making baby bibs and slippers to put into her etsy shop.
If she posts anything not dealing with kids, it's usually a reblog of something from the "Being Liberal" page that I already follow. |

| Anyone want to explain to me what slenderman and jeff the killer are? I was reading through a facebook page called creepypasta and those two kept popping up.
I've also learned that I'm (apparently) not as easily creeped out as others... |

| Nsane the only thing I can say is "you won't know until you have kids of your own" hehe. Your life does evolve around your children, you don't care about yourself anymore it's all about them. Just what your mum would of done for you. | |

Actually, my mom threw house parties on school nights and basically used us as a social trophy because 'oh, look! I'm living up to a social norm!" |

I've also learned that I'm (apparently) not as easily creeped out as others... I love reading/listening to creepypastas, and it is an exceedingly rare event that a creepypasta actually creeps or scares me.

So, it's an actual story or just random pictures that keep getting posted? both, they start out with a picture or a story and things get added and it just becomes modern day internet urban legend making. Then eventually someone comes along and makes a game that's either good or horrible, or like Marble Hornets did and make a web series and it just keeps growing. Some on the other hand aren't to good and don't spread to far or are niche and just stay in a certain community like "tails doll" or the super long "Godzilla nes creepypasta" which are both gamer related.

| I think I'm done with Facebook. Way too many people spreading false information on there. From my friend claiming that okra water cures diabetes to my sis-in-law claiming that the lead in lipstick causes cancer, I just can't handle all the stupidity. | |

| ^^^ your sis-in-law isn't completely wrong, lead does cause cancer it does a bunch of bad stuff that's why we only have limited uses today so if there is a brand of lipstick that contains lead it could possibly cause cancer with high enough levels and amount of use... Okra water on the other hand I don't know, considering how much okra they eat in the south there should be no diabetics... | |

Woo is incredibly irritating. I think proponents of woo actually raise my ire more often than extreme fundamentalist religious people because woo is so easily and thoroughly debunked.

| I'm not putting this on Tumblr because of the fandom, but I have really grown to dislike Markiplier (Mark Fischbach) because I think he is in truth an a**hole douchebag who has fooled the entire fandom into thinking that he is nice. He has become jaded due to all the fangirl attention and yet the fangirls don't even see that he is making fun of them. | |

| I am relieved I have no children. I condone childbearing and have nothing against those that choose to reproduce. I am just glad I don't have any at this point in my life. It's hard to say whether I will feel differently later, but for now I am certain. | |

| So, an American Apparel store has added pubic hair to their mannequins. I don't find it offensive but considering the typical advertising techniques used by the company, I find it incredibly pervy. | |
